Great location, dated property

Incredible location and great communication with owners. Property bathrooms are dated, rust, leaky pipes, clogged master sink. Broken bathroom drawers, dirty stove, torn lamp shade, Curtain rod broken and tied to ceiling, front door is rusted with peeling exterior. One reserved parking space. Close proximity to area attractions.

Very Convenient Location

It is an older unit but has been updated. We found it clean and comfortable for our stay. Host was extremely helpful accommodating with a last minute check in day change.

Comfortable stay close to the state fairgrounds

The property is older but the unit is kept in pretty good condition and the size was comfortable for our group (3 adults and a child). For the size of the unit and location, at 5 minutes to the fairgrounds, you can't beat the price.

Beware

Really disappointed in our stay. We had friends traveling in from Asheville and Charlotte and meeting us in Raleigh. It was embarrassing that there wasn’t enough towels for our guest. There was mold in the coffee pot, and food left in the oven for possibly a week or longer. We were there for the stadium series game and needed a kitchen to cook obviously couldn’t use it because of how gross it was, and had to think fast on something new. The pots and pans lids were disgusting. We spoke with the property manager to let him know, he was super responsive, he said he would have a cleaner come out. We told him not to worry we was gone most of the time since we needed to get different food and he we out to breakfast etc. and we were not at the property and didn’t want anyone in there with all of our belongings. We mentioned MULTIPLE times that we didn’t want anyone in the home due to personal belongings, work equipment that was brought etc. We let him know we were approximately 10 mins away so they could come and dispose of the food. We got there and the door was wide open and they were already inside. We were NOT happy, our guest that was with us was not happy and was barely compensated. I will never use this one again.

Great place to stay!

My husband, 2 of our friends, and myself stayed here for New Years Eve and had a great stay. We were able to cook a meal before heading out for the night, which was amazing. There was only 1 pot that was not large enough to cook what we originally planned (it was about the size of a small sauce pan), so we did have to tweak that, but that was the only thing we had an issue with. Tom responded quickly when I reached out and the place was very clean!

Husband’s birthday!

My husbands friends flew in from PA to surprise my husband. We all went to the Pen’s game. The location was great, very close to everything. We took an Uber everywhere. Tom was great with communication too!

24 hour stay

Enjoyed our time. There are minimal kitchen amenities if cooking but otherwise it was great. Plenty of room for 5.

Expectations met

We searched and compared prices. The condo provided more than enough space for 5 adults and luggage for 3 nights. We needed a place to lay our head down at night and really did not take part in using the kitchen or the dining area. The wifi was adequate and certainly much faster than any hotel so we were all able to connect our devices and watch a live stream of one of the HS graduation events that we were in town for. The outside is an older neighborhood but quiet at night. The unit is located on the first floor and occasionally heard the upstairs unit at night but no worse than being in a hotel. We had no issues with parking even though we had two cars in town and only one parking spot reserved. We used the visitor spaces at night and did not have any issues.

Stayed for one night en route to FL. Tom was super responsive - check in process was smooth. Apartment was clean, modern, great wifi and quiet area for a restful night - Washer / Dryer was a nice plus.

Disappointed

While the listing states newly renovated, the bathrooms and kitchen are quite old.- could be why there are no pictures of those rooms. Outlets in the master bedroom left side did not work and there were no outlets in either bathroom that we could find. Shampoos were open and a razor was left in the bathroom; shower curtain was ripped as well. Owner assured me that he would look into the previous negative review regarding poor shower pressure and paint issues but issues were not addressed. Pipes clank in the kitchen and the overall smell in the unit was uninviting and the plug in freshness units just gave us a headache. I was embarrassed to offer this lodging to my guests. Very disappointed.

Wonderful to Work with

Tom was wonderful to work but the property looked nicer in the photos, than in actuality. It is an older unit. The 2nd bathroom had terrible water pressure and peeling paint on the wall. It was well maintained and clean.
