"Lantana Cottage" est une maison calme et isolĂ©e loin de chez eux. La vĂ©randa grillagĂ©e permet de se dĂ©tendre et de regarder la baie. Everything was in great shape. The cottage and location themselves were perfect for us.Enjoyed fishing off the pier and waking up to sounds of the incoming tide.Quiet with an out in the country feel. Hope to visit again.

So peaceful, clean, comfortable cottage. Views were amazing! Great friend getaway and I am sure families would love it. The screened in porch was so nice! Rachel our host was available as needed, though we did not need a thing. Walking the dog was great, nice quiet road and we met awesome neighbors as well. We will be back!

Lovely views and peaceful!We had a very peaceful get away from the busyness of life. Cool breezes, beautiful views, very quiet and comfortable. We sure hope to come again. Rachel was great to work with.

We absolutely loved it. Everything about this place was incredible. Saw all kinds of wildlife daily. Very clean, amazing views, lots of room, the back porch was 10/10. Honestly there is nothing we would change about this place and hope to stay again.

We loved this property! It was our first time staying on the bay side of any beach trip. It was a nice change of scenery. We sat at the pier watching the dolphins, pelicans & herons. During our stay, we were able to see the sunset over the water and the sunrise over the trees. The site tells you it's 20 mins to the beach but we found a public beach that's 2 mins away at the wildlife refuge (Mobile St). I highly recommend this cute house! Great fishing off the pier also!

Amazing place

The house was wonderful. Everything was exactly as described. House was perfectly clean. Views were amazing. Close enough to everything to visit and eat supper but secluded enough to be peaceful. Fishing was good. Caught many different species just none big enough to eat. Dolphins swam by the pier every day we were there. Host was helpful with any questions. Would definitely stay here again!!

Love this place

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Lantana. I absolutely love it. Nice bathroom remodel was done this time. Plan on returning next year. Love all the fish activity that you can spot in the bay. Wish there were rails around the edge of the deck but that probably has more to do with our age.were railso

Amazing Stay

Although property was dated, it was very clean and everything was perfect for our stay. Pier was great and so was fishing. Screened patio was a plus for us. Will stay again.

Relaxing Getaway

Second time to book Lantana Cottage. Very comfortable, relaxing and laid back but still close to activities. Enjoyed watching shrimp boats from screened porch and fishing from the pier. Cottage is well equipped.

Third time staying and it felt like home

This was our third time staying at Lantana Cottage, and it feels like coming home. The bay is so beautiful, and the property is very peaceful. The air conditioner went out on our second day there, but Rachel was so attentive and got us taken care of by the next morning. Very responsive! We will definitely return!

Refreshing

This is our second stay at the Lantana Cottage. The cottage was clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We saw dolphins, pelicans, and herons. Our greyhound enjoyed his morning walks in the neighborhood. One of the homeowners has greyhounds and has become a friend with my wife .Rachel is a great communicator and responds quickly on any questions you have before your arrival.

Loved it!

We loved our stay! It was such a relaxing home. My boys enjoyed fishing off the dock. They caught a sea trout, several catfish, mullet, and even a small shark! Enjoyed watching the crab pots through the week and had some to eat our last night. The home was well stocked with everything we could need. Couldn’t ask for a better place!

Great place❀

We all absolutely loved the cottage and hope to come back again! We had crab traps out the entire week and had a good boil our last night with over 20 crabs & my husband grilled several red fish he caught in the surrounding area. We brought all of our kayaks and enjoyed the paddle time & going over to the little beachy area of the bayou for the kids & for some solitude. The house is nice & tidy & just what we needed!

Getaway

We went there to just to relax for a few days after some cancer treatment. It rained every day :-) but we were able just to take it easy be back this was our second trip.
