Une maison sur la plage. Maison confortable et récemment rénovée au milieu d'un ranch de bétail en activité.

Cette maison de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain, située dans la prairie à herbes hautes d'Oklahoma, a été construite par une jeune famille d'éleveurs en 1963. L'intérieur a été entièrement rénové à l'automne 2019. Toute nouvelle cuisine, électroménagers, salles de bain et linge de maison. Salle de bain principale a une douche de carreaux de plain-pied. La deuxième salle de bain dispose d'une baignoire avec douche carrelée. Lave-vaisselle, lave-linge et sèche-linge sur place. Internet disponible et vous pouvez vous connecter à vos comptes de streaming et regarder sur le téléviseur 55 "Roku dans le salon. Tout le confort de la maison, au ranch.

Situé dans un ranch de vaches / veaux en activité dans le comté de NE Kay en Oklahoma. Des bovins et des chevaux croisent Angus dans les champs qui entourent la maison. Les vues sont incroyables. Asseyez-vous sur le pont couvert et écoutez les coyotes yip au crépuscule et regardez Northern Harrier et Red Tailed Hawks planer sur les hautes herbes du porche avant. Si vous êtes chanceux, vous apercevrez peut-être un pygargue à tête blanche ou deux.

Situé au milieu d'un ranch de hautes herbes. À seulement 10 minutes de Washunga Bay sur le lac Kaw et à seulement 1 1/2 miles de la rampe de bateau Little Beaver. Chasseurs et pêcheurs, plaisanciers et entrepreneurs de l'extérieur sont les bienvenus. À seulement 50 minutes ou 42 miles (5 d'entre eux de gravier) de Pawhuska, Oklahoma et la Pioneer Woman Mercantile. A 40 km du centre d'accueil de Tall Grass Prairie Preserve. 14 miles (3 miles de gravier) à Newkirk, Oklahoma. A 30 miles de Ponca City et du Marland Mansion. 14 miles au South Wind Casino. This was an amazing location to base a trip to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve. The ranch house was charming and had a lot of character. Mimi was a great hostess and helped me a lot with planning by providing information not only about the house but about nearby spots to visit. She was very responsive to messages before and during our visit. Our party was interested in prairie wildlife - we had people who were interested in birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians, butterflies, and fish, and everyone was satisfied with the adventure. This is an ideal place to stay for exploring the Flint Hills and the Tallgrass Prairie region. I highly recommend!

Home on the range review

This is a beautiful updated home. Its very convenient to Kaw Lake which was the reason we were in the area--to go fishing. Enjoyed hanging out with my son and daughter in law and with my small grandchildren this week. Nice family home.

Home on the Range is a Gem!

Highly recommended this rental if you’re in the Kaw Lake area. The home is clean, spacious and well equipped. The views are beautiful, and the location is so convenient to the lake. Mimi was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area!

Memorial Day stay

My family and I absolutely loved everything about our stay. The land, house, amenities and VIEW were all comfortable and welcoming. We did not want to leave. Met and spoke with the host, Mimi. She is delightful. We have already made plans to return to this property.

Family Hunting Trip

So Perfect & Convenient!

We were going to our Custer family reunion in Grainola, Oklahoma and needed a place to stay. I couldn't believe I found this wonderful house only 16 miles away. It's newly remodeled with granite & tile in the bathrooms with pretty matching towels; comfy beds with quilts; granite counter tops & recessed lighting in the kitchen with drawers that closed by themselves. We were so happy with our stay. Our only regret was that we were not able to spend more time during our stay since our days were spent at the reunion. Everyone at the reunion, was impressed that I found something so close.

Vacation for Indian Tribal Horse Relay Races

We loved our stay on the range and the three kids ran and played outside until they were worn out. The Indian relay races were awesome as was the shopping in Pawhuska. We also toured the Drummond Lodge where the Pioneer Woman is filmed. Fun time and plenty to do.

Perfect little "Home on the Range"

This little house is situated out on an open prairie. It was a perfect place to just relax and enjoy the breathtaking sunrises/sunsets. We were also able to observe playful wildlife in the fields. Best of all, while you feel like you are far away from everything, it is actually only about a short 25 minutes to Ponca City so it isn't too far away. The house itself is adorable. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated, and there is a coffee bar as well. There were plenty of towels and blankets available as too. The owner, Ms. Mimi, is very helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting her a few times during our visit. She asked several times if we needed anything, and even offered to cook for us. Lol. She even baked fresh cookies for us for our arrival. Given the opportunity to return to the area again, we will definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful home on the prairie

Everything was just perfect!!! It is a peaceful property and very close to Kaw management area. Ms. Marilyn made sure we knew not to hesitate to contact her if we needed anything. The house was supplied with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Definitely be back!!!

I run a commercial Beef Cow/Calf Operation in the tall grass of Northern Oklahoma. I live just down the road. If you need anything during your stay, just holler!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There is a large yard, plenty of room for the kids to run and to park your boat or trailer. We have a well-water pump for the fishermen and a clothes-line for your wet lake clothes. Lots of wildlife, cattle and horses grazing the pastures. We offer peace and quiet and easy access to Kaw Lake, as well as a nice headquarters for visiting Ponca City or Pawhuska. Emergency generator kicks in if electric grid goes out!
