La grange construite pour Parkway Farms à la fin des années 1800 abritait autrefois des chevaux de course de trotteurs célèbres et a été restaurée en unités de style de luxe. Tous les jours, les clients peuvent profiter des observations matinales des échauffements des courses sous harnais même sous la pluie ou briller directement dans la rue sur la piste de course la plus ancienne et active du monde. L'espace est conçu autour du style de la ferme moderne et chic avec les poutres antiques originales exposées et l'aspect industriel des conduits en spirale exposés maintient l'espace contrôlé par le climat de haute technologie confortable.

Appartement 2 chambres entièrement rénové dans une grange historique pour 6 personnes. Super espace pour les familles! Legoland New York arrive le 4 juillet 2020 et nous sommes situés à moins de 5 minutes.

Situé directement en face de la piste historique de Goshen avec une vue panoramique sur la plus ancienne piste de course sous harnais active au monde. Promenez-vous, faites du vélo, du patin ou du scooter dans les restaurants pittoresques du village, les boutiques et les attractions, y compris le Heritage Trail voisin.

Stayed 2 nights to go to Legoland, very nice place, worked out great for our family. Great location, got to watch the horses train in the moring!

My favorite place to stay when I go home to Goshen! It's super comfortable, clean & in a great location - just a few minutes drive to Legoland & within walking distance of restaurants downtown as well as Trailside Treats (for delicious ice cream!) & the Farmer's Market when they are open for the season. Walk outside in the morning & you can watch the horses getting their exercise at Historic Track. Also, Emily is a wonderful host & very responsive to all questions!

We had a wonderful time celebrating with family. The location was great and the apartment had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Communication with the host was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Our host was responsive and helpful. The property was clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the perfect water pressure in the shower and an AC that kept the rooms cool enough to sleep (68F) during intense heat (90s). Goshen is a cute town with lots of great family spots, on top of easy access to LEGO land...we will definitely revisit.

very inviting home away from home

I had so much fun here, I was able to visit the nearby shops and they left many tips behind to make the best out of our stay. They recommended an amazing pizzeria and even left some snacks around in case we got hungry. The place was well kept and very cozy, would definitely recommend!

A perfect place. Beautifully restored, perfectly finished, and very clean. We stayed for a family wedding weekend and this could not have worked out better. Will be back for sure!!

Charming Town

The place is right across the street from what looked like a horse track. Not sure if it's active. Loved the peace and serenity. Some really good breakfast places in town. It's a great pivot point to other towns as well. The place was newly renovated and great!.

Hidden Gem

My family and I needed a place to stay for our trip to Legoland. This property was less than 10 minutes away, the accommodations are spacious, comfortable and clean, and it was a perfect for my family. Our children are 6 and 8.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Emily and Daves property. The place was perfect for our family getaway. It was beautifully decorated, and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into each decision, and that they cared about you having a great stay. We had everything we needed. The hosts were also very responsive and offered recommendations on places to visit based on the age of my kids (3 and 5) and what we had wanted to do. Once LegoLand opens we will be back to stay again, if not before.

Host supplied all our needs Beautiful property, but the guess that we're in the above apartment were very loud and early mornings 12am to hear banging and stuff dragging across the floor left me unable to get a good night sleep.

Amazing transformation!

We loved the conversion of these stables. The property was charming and comfortable! Walking outside this morning and seeing the trotters on the track across the street was so fun! Would definitely go back!

What a nice place!

From booking through the end of our stay, our hosts, Emily and Dave, could not have been nicer! The apartment is lovely, really well appointed, and SO well kept! You can walk to the main street and all the little restaurants and bars. It is across the street from the historic harness racing track, so we were able to watch horses being trained in the mornings. We were 20 to 30 minutes from a big variety of activities. We would go back there anytime! Very relaxing.

Beautifully appointed

Renovated barn apartment is right across the street from a historic horse track. The kids loved seeing the horses practicing each morning. Everything was clean and spacious inside, and very close to some great little restaurants. Our trip was focused around LEGOLAND, and the title isn’t wrong in saying it’s 5 minutes from there…it really was only 5 minutes! Great hosts, great communication, and I would love to come back again!

A nice rental, overall.

The apartment was clean and well maintained. There were snacks and coffee there for us when we arrived. The beds were comfortable. The sofa and chairs were not very comfortable, but suitable. The neighborhood seems nice, safe, and easy to travel in. The driveway is not paved, so a little rough.

Family Reunion

We had our 2nd biannual family reunion in Goshen. This was a great location from which to walk/ meet other family who both live in Goshen & rented elsewhere. While we didn't spend a lot of time at the apartment, we were very comfortable and had all the basics (coffee, snacks, laundry detergent,...) that we needed. Thanks very much & best wishes for a successful completion of your beautiful bed & breakfast. We will be back!

Week away

The space is large and beautiful! Kitchen fully equipped to cook. Very clean. Adjustable heat and plenty of hot water with a nice large shower. Location to restaurants/bars and shopping terrific. Hosts available quickly if need them- we needed batteries for remote. Choosing this location should be a no brainer! We would love to come back to stay again!

Purchased in 2017, Dave and Emily have been extensively overhauling and renovating the buildings on the property with the help of their two kids. Emily is an Interior Designer by trade, a longtime GPLHS Library Trustee, and the head of Goshen Sarah Wells Girl Scouts. Dave is a Lieutenant with the New York City Fire Department in the Bronx and has been serving with the FDNY since 2001, a Planning Team Manager for FEMA Urban Search & Rescue Task Force and is a Past Captain of the Goshen Minisink Hook & Ladder Co. 1. In addition to tackling most of the construction work at this property, he has designed and maintained over 300 websites since 1996. They both lived in Goshen since 2007 and are happily raising our two children here. We are invested in the future of our village.
