Wonderful Quiet Stay

Very clean, perfect spot to stay while traveling the coast. Feels like a little private resort hidden behind the farms. Great access to the water, and recreation.

Prayer retreat

My daughter and I needed a respite to evaluate life. We lobed the artwork as we walked it. It fit our mood and gave is a laugh. Great spot to reflect and be with the Lord. Beautiful lake property.

Beautiful lakeside location

Woke up to views of beautiful Flores Lake and jumped right into a kayak for an early morning paddle on water smooth as glass. Tucked into a sheltered cove, this part of the lake was uncrowded and serene. Abundant wildlife along the banks and in the water: otters, kingfishers, egrets, and other species. Lovely location. Friendly and helpful property manager. The Redwood Cottage is small and basic, but has a full kitchen. One downside is a strong musty odor throughout the apartment, and the bed clothes smelled of it also. The Vrbo property description suggests the use of kayaks and paddle boards are included in the apartment rental. They are in fact a separate rental cost.

Adequate accommodations but bad neighbors

The property itself is attached to a main house. We had trouble finding our parking spot because our neighbors decided to throw a party and everyone's vehicles were filling our spot and the round about. This infuriates the neighbors that we mentioned it and the harass family on the same property renting up the hill who came to our door when we were not home. Lake not that accessible. Moring views are breath taking beautiful. We left every second we could do the o bad neighbors. Hopefully yours will be nice.

The property is NOT a single residence. You are NOT in a home by yourself. You do NOT have a view of the water from every property. This is a ranch, two level home, that was made into 2-3 separate residences (rentals). I don't blame them for making a income property out of their home but the on line description does NOT fairly match each of the reservation/rental areas. I felt like a bait & switch happened to us. VBRO should ask them to re-write the description or separate each rental into it's own review.

Lovely escape

Such thoughtful detail and layout- shared property but individual space to relax outside and shared dock which is great for using a SUP or kayak. The amenities including the shower were wonderful. Great access to such a beautiful part of Oregon. Management was beyond responsive- helping us rent a kayak.

Adorable lakeside home

The property is exactly as described. Plenty of room for two adults and two teens. The property manager, Christina, is wonderful to work with. The only thing that would have made the stay better would be a washer/dryer but we new going in the unit does not have one. Lots of things to see and due along the coast line, small grocery store close by with everything you will need. I recommend The Salty Dog for burgers. They were fantastic and so was the service. Try the Big Daddy Mac's burger. The sauce is made locally and it has a fantastic flavor.

Perfect little get away, beautiful lake and close to the beach

This property is one of our favorites and we will definitely be back. Clean, quiet and modern updates. Everything we needed was there. We love the beach but we’re looking for something a little different, with this gem you get a serene lake and the beach is a short distance away.. best of both worlds.

The setting was beautiful. We spent one of our days kayaking and the property was so easy to take off from. The kitchen was newly done and so nice to cook in. It was a very nice stay.
