Wolf Pad Retreat est situé à Upper Moonridge, en retrait de la route et entouré d'arbres, c'est un endroit idéal pour votre escapade en montagne. Avec une vue imprenable depuis plusieurs ponts, y compris les pistes et les vues sur le lac. Cette maison est à une courte distance en voiture de la station de ski Bear Mountain.

Entrez dans la maison où vous trouverez la salle familiale. Avec de grandes baies vitrées offrant une vue imprenable. Il y a une cheminée à bois et un grand canapé sectionnel pour profiter d'un feu ou regarder vos favoris sur la télévision à écran plat.  Il y a un siège près de la fenêtre, un endroit parfait pour s'asseoir et lire un livre.

Sortez avec le cuisinier à l'îlot de cuisine, où tout votre groupe peut se sentir inclus dans le plan d'étage à aire ouverte. Il y a de nombreux sièges pour votre famille sur la table de style champêtre pouvant accueillir jusqu'à six personnes. Il y a un combo réfrigérateur / congélateur, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes et une machine à café Keurig.

À l'étage, vous trouverez deux des quatre chambres, la première a un lit queen et la deuxième chambre a un roi. Il y a des toilettes 3/4 dans le couloir. Rendez-vous en bas où vous pourrez profiter d'une partie de billard sur la table de billard, d'une partie de baby-foot ou profiter du feu dans la cheminée à bois.

En bas, vous trouverez également deux autres chambres, une avec un lit king et l'autre chambre a un lit queen, il y a aussi une grande salle de bain pleine grandeur. La buanderie comprend une laveuse et une sécheuse pleine grandeur, disponibles pour les locataires.

Big Bear Trip

We had a great time at this cabin, and the pictures don’t do it justice. It was a beautiful place in person and very comfortable for our family. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to stay in Big Bear.

Property was ok first off all there is a trash issue in the property you can’t leave your trash behind because they charge you 25 per bag you leave behind after checking out so they send you to a location were you have to dump it yourself and the line to get thru that is very long and is very frustrating because they charge a cleaning fee of 200 you can’t leave dirty dishes. A lot of stuff is broken and a lot of lights don’t work they don’t provide you with enough paper towels and toilet paper for the amount of people we book it for so if you are trying to book this place, just make sure you bring enough paper towels and enough toilet paper. Other than that it was a pretty well stay

Not as good as we thought!

The heater in the basement was not working at all. The disposer was not working in the sink and it was clogged. A house that needs a maintenance should not be there on the list.

Close to perfect

We were a little wary of booking a place with no reviews but couldn't be happier with our stay. While this house is quite a long way back in Moonridge, the views are awesome (lake and ski slopes), the balcony is wide, the bedrooms are large and comfortable, and there's a gas bbq that wasn't mentioned under amenities. The home is on the downhill side of a flat part of the road with easy access and parking for two cars (three if you double-park) on the pad out front. The balcony was perfect for a quiet coffee before breakfast and for a family bbq and dinner (7 adults...2 parents, 3 grown sons, plus 2 girlfriends). The kitchen was well-appointed. We were a little surprised that there were absolutely no condiments (salt, sugar, Keurig capsules, anything) but that's probably the new COVID normal...nothing carries over from rental to rental. Seating in the upstairs family area was comfortable even with 7 of us...four over 6ft. Wifi was great....no problems simultaneously streaming from 2 TVs plus whatever on-and-off iPhone streaming was going on. The management people were easy to communicate with through the VRBO App. We usually heard back within an hour or so during the rental and a day or so before...but not so great 5 days before. There are a lot of rules and a lot of small fees if you don't leave the place set-up right (for example: $25 if you don't hook the TV back up the way it was when you arrive or if you leave any food behind). The posted rules give a very strict, unfriendly feel but I think they're there as incentives and reminders and we had no problems getting a full refund of our deposit. Checkout at 10am was a pain in the butt and they were unable to offer late checkout but that's not unusual. It wasn't cheap but we felt like we got what we paid for. The sole negative was the complicated navigation up the hill with maze-like turns: but the drive was worth it. We would definitely rent this property again.
