House was perfect for our group of 5 couples. Pool was awesome and the views topped it off! Surprised no pool towels were included, so be sure to bring one. Property management was great to work with and responded to any questions quickly. Would stay here again.

Perfect for families

This was our second time staying at the home and we loved it! Location is wonderful, love that every room has its own bathroom.

Spacious, tucked away, 5 minute walk to the beach

My family and I had a great time at this house. Perfect location in being away from the main areas of the resort and a legitimate short walk to the beach. Spacious, plenty of room, kids loved the pool. Great place for a big family trip!

Wonderful stay

Wonderful house tucked away in Palmetto Dunes. We come every year and this is the first time we rented an entire house for our group of 11. Kids lived the pool and the views were awesome. Could even see the fireworks from the back deck at shelter cove!

So this property has a lot of potential. I’ll start with the pros Pros1. Location excellent. Very close to shopping and restaurants and beach access is fantastic 2. Amenities are good. House stocked with everything needed for beach and cooking meals. 3. Large pool which is good for multiple people staying. 4. Comes with a credit at a company to rent bikes etc. which was appreciated also access to tennis courts. But these had to be rented for a fee. Cons Bugs meaning cockroaches. YES I know the climate and area. Have stayed at a condo previously on Hilton Head Island and did not have this problem. But seen several which caused concern with our food not being completely covered like in zip lock bags. When I called Island Time rental was told someone came in and sprayed and the outdoor area was to be sprayed but did not see either person. And was still seeing the bugs. Property seemed to need some care. We arrived and had to clean the pool and deck. Which is totally unacceptable. No brooms on the property. Big pine needles fell in pool constantly. Ask for a blower to help keep deck clean and never got one. They did bring brooms after we asked but Blower would be so much faster. Beds not comfortable and very loud. Every time you moved it was really bad. And we are not extremely picky about beds. Also doors extremely loud. Couldn’t even close them when the babies in the group slept because they would wake

We had a great stay? The pool is large and very nice. As advertised the beach is a 7 minute walk. We did have hard rain one day and the roof leaked over master bedroom in two places. This needs to be fixed. Still enjoyed the house and location.

Perfect house for our group

The house was perfect for what we needed. We had 5 adults and 4 teenagers. The teens were able to have their own space which was nice. The pool was absolutely perfect! The walk to the beach took us about 5 minutes. Communication with the property manager was great and they were prompt in responding. Would stay at this property again.

Memorable family vacation

House was very nice. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. Pool was especially awesome & house location was good too. There were only a couple of minor things that I had to report initially as 2 doors that wouldn't close. They actually were not repaired during our stay but not a big deal really. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Family Christmas week

Needs some outdoor decking repair. House was clean and very livable. Needs to install missing lightbulbs. Plenty of space for all of us to be together or find a quiet spot.

Location, location, location

Two families of 6 with kids ranging from 14 years old to 23 years old stayed in this sprawling home. We usually stay in Shipyard but decided to try Palmetto Dunes. Loved it. This house is laid out so well that everyone can easily have their own space but can still be together. The house overlooks the golf course which makes it easy to ride bikes on the golf cart path after hours. The beach is a short 5 minute walk away. The swimming pool is huge. Loved this house and look forward to future stays.

Mooring Buoy

What a wonderful home. Took our son/fiancé, daughter and her clan of 6 and had room and privacy for more! Beautiful location on RTJ #12 with kayak launch and the beach was a 2 minute walk. Very quiet, clean and private! Management was very responsive with requests. The only recommendation is to beef up the 3rd floor air conditioning. During late afternoons it was warm.

We had three families staying in the house and we really appreciated the two kitchens with their extra space. There is room for everyone and the house doesn't feel crowded. Pool is great. Relaxing and comfortable retreat!

The home is special with 5 bedrooms, each with a private bath. Two complete living areas with two full kitchens made spreading out an easy option and we never ran short of space for our activities! The pool is huge and the elevated decks have a great view of the 12th hole of the RTJ golf course. A short 5 minute walk to the beach which is very wide and uncrowded was very much appreciated !It’s great house, we hope to stay there again!

Beautiful Home

Loved sitting on the raised deck and watching the golfers play as well as the wildlife around the lagoon and golf course. Sunsets are specatacular!It is time for some new bedding though - all guests complained about the beds. Every time you move, they make all sorts of noises....That said, we will be back again!

It definitely has one of the largest pools in Palmetto Dunes. It’s very private and secluded from the neighbors. The home and pool sit above the surrounding homes. It’s a short walk across the 10 th hole to coco’s for great drinks. The home is newly remodeled. I think the mattresses need replaced, too hard
