Rocky Mountain Cottage

This family cottage is located in the North Nordegg subdivision on 1.26 acres of land with direct access to surrounding crown land and direct access to the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Activities in the area include hiking, fishing, ATV with many trails, lakes and rivers at your doorstep. This fully equipped cottage provides all the amenities and comforts you desire including satellite, high speed internet via Starlink and a collection of DVD's. Enjoy a fire inside or out and enjoy the many activities this mountain region has to offer. The opportunities for adventure are endless in historic Nordegg! Please note that dogs and cats have stayed in the cottage from time to time.

*Please note: the entire weekend must be booked over long weekends.*

Our family loved our little Christmas escape. It was so peaceful and magical. It was a beautiful house with all the amenities we needed to put on our feast! The host supplied us with everything we needed and a few extra treats. I would recommend this place to anyone. Check-in was simple and easy. Thank you for allowing us to go back to remince and par take in a Christmas service in the cute little church.

Beautiful location, quiet, lovely views and amazing sights very nearby. We had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, a well equipped kitchen -as we enjoy making our own meals, the BBQ was great, there was plenty of firewood for sitting around the fire in the evenings.

Great location, close to a lot of atv trails, hiking, town of nordegg, just a few minutes away, nice subdivision, but very quite, nice fire pit area, beds were comfortable. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Fantastic property, couldnt ask for much more. The cabin is very well stocked and taken care of, private and close to everything in the area, deer walked through the property every day. Would recommend to anyone wanting an easy get away.

Great property quiet and clean, kids loved it and the area is beautiful and very sparsely populated so it’s a great way to see Alberta without the busyness of some other major centres. Everything was as it said and the house was clean and well equipped for our family.

Fantastic large, well-equipped cabin in the mountains. *Excellent* dark skies for astrophotography. Set the telescope up in the dark back yard, and run it from inside sitting on the couch by the warm fireplace.

My friends and I had an incredible stay at Darcy’s place! Everything was as advertised, the place was clean and check-in/check-out very straightforward. Would highly recommend!

Great Alberta Stay-cation

Fantastic property and host! We loved the space from the time we arrived. Perfectly located for privacy and yet so close to so many lovely lakes and trails. Comfortable to cook our meals and hang out after day of exploring.

The owner states that the Property is their family dream home in the mountain. This is clear from the overall construction/decoration and maintenance, showing the time/work the owner had put into the place. We specially enjoyed the fire pit, with abundance firewood provided as part of the rental. The place was quiet and tranquil.
