Nouvel appartement de 2 chambres au dernier étage avec terrasse privée ensoleillée avec vue sur l'océan

Appartement moderne au dernier étage très privé avec deux chambres (une double et une twin) et deux salles de bains (une en-suite). Meublé selon les normes les plus élevées avec des raccords tout neufs. Salon / salle à manger central avec grand balcon donnant sur les montagnes et une cuisine moderne avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour indépendant, y compris une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. La deuxième salle à manger mène à une terrasse ensoleillée entièrement privée dans le toit traditionnel en tuiles rouges.
L'appartement est à quelques pas du "village" de Garajau, avec de nombreux cafés, restaurants et plats à emporter. Continuez à travers le village et vous vous retrouvez à la célèbre statue de Cristo Rei, où vous pouvez prendre un téléphérique sur la plage de galets, où il y a plus d'installations.

Host was awesome they were able to accommodate us above and beyond our requests, awesome view from the apartment, safe neighborhood with convenient parking spot inside the garage. They have given us some fruit to try The beds were comfortable, thats always a plus Overall stay was definitely great if we fo back would most definitely stay there again.

We fully enjoyed our stay at the apartment, especially the incredible view from the terrace. The apartment is large, comfortable and well equipped. The internet was not very reliable, but it wasn't a big problem for us. Having a parking spot in the garage was a big plus.

Great communication

Ideal property for exploring Madeira. The property is fully equipped with a patio area as an added bonus. The dedicated parking space is a real asset for those hiring a car. Great communication during the booking and check in phase really helped. Highly recommended.

What a view!

Great location with easy access to Funchal. All the modern conveniences. Kitchen well stocked. The rooftop patio was awesome!

Feb stay in Madeira

We were happy with all the conveniences this property offered. With a full kitchen we were able to make some meals for ourselves and pack lunches for our lavada walks. Bus service was very close so no need for a car. Loved the roof to patio, lots of sunshine.

Very nice stay on Madeira!

It was very complete. Ana Paula was very friendly, her own honey is delicious. Going too Funghal by bus is easy…. If you know which busline… A trip with a 4x4 Jeep is wonderfull, and exciting. They can pick you up at the appartement. Driving with a rental car was too much for me, roads are very narrow and steep.nature is wonderfull!

Perfect place

We stayed in the apartment for one week. And when we arrived we were so surprised cause it was really more beautiful then on the pictures. The apartment had everything you need for a relaxed stay in a foreign country and we needed to buy nothing cause everything was already there. From salt and pepper to laundry detergent and cooking items. The place was very clean and was prepared lovely - with flowers waiting for us on the tables. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Other than being hard to find, everything about the apartment was great. It was remodeled to a high standard, large apartment, great views and deck, intro food, large shower. Great location, walkable restaurants, pharmacy, grocery. Super local neighborhood. Parking garage. Heads up; Manager did have an add-on cost paid in cash on site. Regardless of amount or reason for this charge, it should be have been included in the VRBO quote or in the contract.

Thanks for the five stars! However, we would beg to differ that the apartment is hard to find, as there are two turnings between it and the airport. The additional charge is a local eco-tax applied by the Santa Cruz municipality to fund various environmental projects - as it is only €1 per adult per day, but only for the first five days, it is impossible to configure in the HomeAway "extras".

Comfortable, but a shortage of bed linen and then the hot water was very sporadic and just sometimes just a trickle! Also no cushions for sun beds!These things didn’t cause us too much trouble, but thought I’d better mention them Annette

Lovely apartment

Lovely apartment with terrace that gets full sun and a cooler balcony on the north side. Good Comms with the owners and everything in the flat that we needed. Really comfortable bed and big sofas in the living room. Good WiFi, although a bit hit and miss on the terrace. One caveat. It's a noisy area. It's residential so there are people fixing stuff, setting off for work at 6am, a cockerel at 5.30, motorbikes and lots of barking dogs. It was very very warm so we had the doors and windows open all night, so we heard all the noises.

The background noise, we are afraid, is typical of all "Mediterranean" countries. There are many places noisier than this, as it is quite an un-market neighbourhood.!

Really good apartment and location

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner, who was very helpful, met us as arranged, showed us around and told us about the local facilities. The apartment has everything one could want, is spacious and is in excellent condition. We liked the large balcony with sea views. It was also very quiet, being at the top of the block. There is a food shop about 100 metres away which had excellent fruit and vegetables and met all our food needs, and which seemed to have very long opening hours - we never found it closed. There are several restauarants very close by, one with a take away service. There are regular buses to and from Funchal. We used the bus system for three of our days there and hired a car for the other three which made going further afield easier. Higly recommended.

Good for first time visit in Madeira

Many positives staying here Very nice apartment and well equipped Very clean Liked the coffee making options Because we were there in winter it was a little cool at times but owners provided a heater which was much appreciated Owners/Peter were very responsive when we had questions Great spot to visit the rest of the island as the main highway was easy to access if you are renting a car We were out on the road quite a bit exploring various towns and villages and walking many of the wonderful levadas Bus service into Funchal was very close and easy to use if you didn't want to drive into the city and you can stay here comfortably without a car There were several restaurants close by that were good The Ravioli was our go-to place for morning coffee and a tart We stayed for about one month In hindsight I would probably have split some of that time between Garagua and Funchal, which we thought was a wonderful city One negative was the barking dogs in the neighboring hosues, even if that is out of the control of the owners of the apartment Overall, a nice place to rental

Communication with agent was excellent so no problems finding the apartment. Secure locked parking under the building with lift to the apartment. Lovely place to stay, clean, very modern, tastefully, and comfortably furnished. Had all the equipment we needed. A bowl of local grown fruit, cake and biscuits where a nice welcome gift. Ana, the owner, met us with the keys and gave us useful information about the local amenities. Close to reasonably priced restaurants and food stores. Easy drive to lots of places on the island although our 1.2 Corsa struggled a bit with some of the steep hills! It did the job but we will hire something a little more powerful next time! We loved Funchal, new year fireworks were epic! Loved the toboggans and tropical gardens at Monte. Went to the natural swimming pools at Porto Moniz. We braved the 17 degree water and enjoyed our December swim in the Atlantic! The faint hearted might rather do it in the summer!! Nice place though. We also enjoyed the Sky Walk which was free. Would recommend the Central Restaurant in Canico we were only in Medeira a week and we went twice! :)

Très confortable appartement, bien situé pour une visite complète de Madère

Bel appartement avec équipements top et 2 terrasses avec vue sur mer pour l’une. Bien situé pour visiter toute l’île, l’hébergement n’est pas loin d’une supérette bien achalandée (banamadeira)et d’un resto (raises des izles) Très correct en prix et surtout à la cuisine locale savoureuse et copieuse. Très bon séjour dans cette location qui présente un plus avec son garage souterrain
