Petite maison sur l'étang.

Tout neuf! Cette petite maison se trouve à côté d'un étang de 2 acres, dans un petit quartier, à 15 minutes de Brevard et Rosman. Il y a un porche couvert avec banc et, en bas des escaliers, un autre porche couvert avec balançoire et buanderie. Il y a aussi un petit quai dont vous pouvez profiter, alors apportez vos cannes à pêche et vos petits bateaux. L'étang peut fluctuer selon les saisons. C'est la seule maison sur l'étang et vous vous sentirez comme votre droit sur l'eau. Presque une maison de bateau sans les vagues.

Property was exactly as described. Following the directions provided I had no issue finding the location. Owner’s communication was excellent . I will definitely stay here again when I visit the area again.

This was 2nd time husband, myself and our little chihuahua have stayed at the Little House On The Pond and it never disappoints! Super cute, super clean with easy check in and great communication with host! Close to many great attractions! Our go to rental when visiting relatives in North and South Carolina.

The cabin was very cozy and everything that was needed was there. Our 4 legged baby enjoyed his stay as much as we did. The only thing that we missed was water water being in the pond which was no fault of anyones but Mother Nature. Jessica was always a phone call or text away. I would definitely refer this little home to friends and family and look forward to staying here again.

Absolutely perfect cabin for the pup and I. Easy walk from the cabin to the east fork of the French Broad river. Love the porch swing looking out over the pond. Definitely need to use the wifi to set up gps before leaving, but toally worth it.

There was no lake view. I guess because of the drought. The place was a lot smaller than I thought. Looked bigger online. Ants everywhere. Dining room table very sticky, washed it several times and still very sticky. But overall we had a nice stay. There were no mosquitoes bc there was no pond so we sat outside and enjoyed the weather for the most part.

I just cleaned it after you left yesterday and didn't see a single ant, we do have a pest company come out every three months to spray and take care of that. They were just there a week ago. We call it a puddle right now, lol. The bugs haven't been that bad this year so far. It is called a little house so it is small/little. We need to refinish the table and will definitely do that in the off season. Glad you had a nice stay though.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The cabin itself was extremely clean, well-kept, and very comfortable, which made it easy to relax right away.The location is one of its biggest strengths. It feels peaceful and tucked away from everything, yet you’re still just a short drive from a charming little town and an incredible forest with beautiful hiking trails. It’s a perfect balance between seclusion and convenience.The host was very kind, accommodating, and communicative throughout the entire stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free.The only note is that the pond was quite low during our visit, which was a bit different from what we expected. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.Overall, a wonderful place to unwind and disconnect. We’d definitely consider staying again.

Me and my dogs really enjoyed our Little House getaway. While I do wish the water in the pond had been higher, that’s not anything controllable, and the frog chorus while we sat in the swing and watched the birds made up for it. You can tell a lot of love went into this place and I would definitely stay here again!

Adorable Home!

We really did enjoy having adventures here. The inside of this home is the most cozy, clean environment. It’s just fun to be there. If you like nature and enjoy the simple life this is a wonderful getaway!

God’s Beauty and Serenity

Rustic lodging at its best without the distractions of fellow tourists and traffic! And you’ll find plenty to do, whether shopping and dining in downtown Brevard or hiking to one of the many waterfalls nearby! Just the right place to get away from it all!

We really enjoyed our stay with, Jessica. Her and her husband, Levi were great! The only problem we had was the lack of a pond. But, the local waterfalls made up for that. Haha will stay again.

My family is from here, my husband was born and raised across the pond. I was raised in Balsam Grove. We feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to have grown up here and now get to raise our family here too.

You're welcome to use our Paddle boat, as long as you put it back. There are some life jackets and pond towels in the laundry room.
Dupont, Pisgah national Forest, and the East Fork River are not far away to enjoy biking, hiking, and fishing.
