The unit itself was super clean. The common areas (elevators/hallways) always seemed to have a lot of water on the ground - I realize we were at the beach, but it could have been a slipping hazard.

Beauty at the beach

Beautiful unit. Loved the newer beach theme decor. Very comfortable. Nice quieter location and equal distance north to Orchard Grove and the pier or south to Myrtle.

Beautiful Unit

Beautiful unit and decorated perfectly. Outstanding view and great location. Check in was simple and unit parking was very convenient. Unit does need a good cleaning - and we had trouble with 2 of the 5 TVs not working. We placed a service call when we arrived but as far as we know - no technician arrived (our stay was Thurs - Sun). Locks on sliding glass door need repair as well.

A few issues

The other bedrooms except for the master bedroom need darkening curtains. We had a leak with master bedrooms bath tub. The leak was where the faucet connects to the tub. I called and left 2 messages but no one came to fix it. I left a note and took pictures. Also needs a bigger pool. All in all it is a very nice condo.

Reviewer Comments: We first ended up at the WRONG condo with our Keys WORKING that door only to find out we had to move that it was the wrong condo and doors were left unlocked. When Building Manager came down we went to the Condo where she said we were supposed to be and NONE of our keys worked there. We spent over 2 hours trying to get into our condo. They kinda laughed it off but, we were exhausted and needed in our room. Especially with 2 small children and after traveling 9 hours.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, I only booked this room because the room I had booked prior to this one was having work done and the balconies weren’t able to be used. I had to pay an extra $500 from what I already paid, just to book this room.The condo was nice. Basic necessities were provided, but nothing beyond that. Washer and dryer came in handy with keeping towels clean. From what I can tell the building we were in was mainly “residents” and it was made particularly clear by the family who camped out at the beach in front of the building. They made sure they were out at 6am to set up and kept their stuff there until the evening time. When asked if they could maybe shift their set up to allow for room for our chairs they informed us they “owned the beach” where they were set up. We have never had trouble with renting umbrellas and chairs but it was a constant battle just to get what we rented set up each day. I don’t believe we will ever stay at this location or anywhere near it. The beach was extremely crowded, more so than we’ve ever seen in Myrtle beach or south Myrtle beach.

Relaxing stay

Great location, less-crowded beach than we are used to. Quick elevators, friendly tenants, attentive property manager. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, could use a deep clean (not horribly dirty but just some touch up under beds, closets, drains) but overall a great rental. Would rent again.
