Excellent view of the lake!! Loved the dock, Maui mat and paddle board. Parking was a little difficult but we made it work. Overall a good vacation.

Lovely large home on Spirit Lake

We have been going to Lake Okoboji in the summer for many years for a family vacation. We have stayed at Bridges Bay several time and then a couple of lake home rentals. This home was by far the best place we have stayed. There was plenty of space for everyone (we had 11 total), and we enjoyed using the floating mat for water play and the paddle board.The owner was very responsive to any concerns we had.We would love to stay here for our trip next summer

Great location

Love that it had both a grill and a blackstone as well as access to all the tubes, maui mats and paddle boards. Kids had a blast fishing off the dock. Great location on the lake where it is not as busy, so the kids could play in the water without worrying about boats or jet skis.

Perfect!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again if we decide on another Okoboji vacation. The host was extremely responsive and answered our questions very quickly. We are so happy we found this property!

Family Fun at the Iowa Great Lakes

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house on East Okoboji. Joined by our kids and grandkids, my wife and I found this to be an ideal spot for family fun and activities, from swimming, to kayaking, to barbecuing and eating on the deck, to taking long naps. The ammenities were great and perfect for all ages. We will be back again!

Review

We had a very lovely time. The cabin is well kept and furnished. The host is easy to communicate with. Only mild negative was limited dock space for our boat and jet ski. Would definetly recommend the cabin to others.

Great location

It was great to find a house with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms, our group was 11 adults. Parking was tricky, but we made it work. We would have preferred to have the main refrigerator/freezer to ourselves and not have the owners items in them, there is a second fridge in the garage. Great fire pit, very nice neighbors, we enjoyed our siblings weekend catching up with the family!

Awesome quite neighborhood. The East lake is covered from the wind so it was a big plus!

Awesome property!

This was a perfect location for our extended family. Lots of room and each family had their own bathroom and bedroom which was nice. Beautiful view from the dock and a nice deck Where the babies and toddlers could crawl around.Everything was super convenient, we would definitely stay here again.

Great experience!

The property was beautiful and the home was big enough for all 14 of us to have our own space! The photos really don’t do the property justice in terms of the size - it is quite large! Fishing was great and the lake was calm most days, which made for great water sports and using our boat. There was access to tubes and paddle boards as well. Would definitely recommend this location in the future! Only enough space for parking vehicles in the garage and driveway so plan accordingly.

Awesome neighbors

We thought the slips for the boat and jet ski would be available but it was not. They ended up having a ski down and offered us to use one of their slips. The neighbors allowed us to use their ski lift and boat docks. Also allowed us to park trailers among their properties. If it were not for them, this would not have been the best experience. Something I will be sure to confirm before reserving another lake front property!

Beautiful home

It was great except I would have liked a heads up that all the sheets and towels were to be washed and dried along with clean sheets back on the beds. Seven of our crew left Friday and I spent the rest of the day doing laundry and then finished up on Saturday before we left. I don’t see how we could have possibly gotten that done if we all left the same day to meet the check out time.
