Miller’s Green est une maison de caractĂšre construite en 1911 dans le centre d’East Vancouver, dans le quartier de Kensington-Cedar Cottage. Notre maison est entiĂšrement privĂ©e pour les clients de VRBO avec cinq chambres, deux salles de bain complĂštes et une cour privĂ©e. Notre maison peut accueillir jusqu'Ă  12 personnes et convient parfaitement aux familles ou aux groupes. Il offre tout le confort de la maison situĂ© Ă  moins de 6 kilomĂštres du centre-ville de Vancouver, Ă  un pĂątĂ© de maisons des transports en commun et Ă  vingt minutes de l'aĂ©roport international de Vancouver (YVR). The house on Miller St is large and comfortable, and very good for feeding a large group. The hosts were very responsive and everything went without a hitch.

Check in was seamless. House was perfect for our family of 8. Extremely well located. We were victims of the Air Canada strike and Matthew and Sarah our hosts could not have been more helpful and considerate. They bent over backwards to accommodate us. Thank you folks and merci bien!!!!

Plenty of room for our party of eight - eating space, large couch and outside porch. It was nice to have an area to hang out. House provided everything we needed but be prepared for street parking. Location allowed easy access to everything we wanted to see.

Family vacation

Very spacious, love the open kitchen/living area and the big table to accommodate a large family of 7, quiet neighborhood and easy to access downtown and attractions. Beds and pillows comfortable and towels felt like we were at the Hotel. Everyone enjoyed the Netflix / Disney and Wifi. Wonderful Hosts that were easy to reach and available for our questions. We really enjoyed our stay !

Ideal

We were in town for daughter’s wedding and had beautiful weather so really enjoyed two decks and back yard. Had lovely family brunch after wedding and so much fun! Great memories!!

Disappointing & HOT

For the price that we paid for this house, it was disappointing. 1.) The house was HOT. There is no central A/C. The listing is accurate as this this is not included in the listing. Our visit unfortunately coincided with a heat wave, and the hosts kindly provided two portable A/C units. While we are grateful, it was unfortunately not enough. All rooms without the units were unbearably hot. Even though we had fans in every room, it was still too hot for most of our party to sleep well. 2.) The hosts were nice & responsive. Communication was quick & accommodating. Had basic rental property needs met, like clean towels/linens. 3.) Overall, the house lacks updated details. It was clean, but many details show a lack of investment put into updating an older house. For example, in the lower bathroom: window handle was broken, did not have lock on the door, side of the countertop exposed particleboard underneath a granite-façade, curtain was sheer. I wouldn’t have had an issue with the lower quality details had I paid substantially less for the stay. 4.) Location was good in that it was a 20-30 minute drive to most of the attractions. But, it did feel like a relatively run-down area compared to some other parts of Vancouver. We never had any issues. Street parking was easy and felt safe. But, the neighborhood felt more like it was acceptable, not impressive or enjoyable. 5.) This house felt small for our group of 8. There was only one common area for us to hang out.

Good place, needs deep cleaning

The house was as described and suited our needs. The location was closed to a lot of destinations and the number and variety of restaurants close by was great! Plenty of comfortable space

We had a great visit to Vancouver with this house being centrally located. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for our group. The host was excellent to communicate with and was always prompt!

Friendly hosts, cozy house, convenient neighborhood

We had a great spring break at this house. It was clean and tidy on a quiet street. Our only challenge was that it felt slightly small for our group of eight (including 3 young elementary school kids and 1 toddler), but that’s not the fault of the house.

Great stay in a lovely house

Great location, the buses and trains run frequently very close to the house. The house was super cozy and clean and it has enough space for 12 adults. The communication with the host was excellent and they answered super fast. We definitely recommend for a trip to Vancouver and would book it again!

Clean house in suburbs

The house was large enough and clean and the hosts responsive. However the property was not in a great area and the bus route into Vancouver centre was interesting. Might of been better if we had a car and knew the area better.

Vancouver wedding stay

Most of our family is in Ontario and we needed somewhere to call home for the intimate family only wedding. It was wonderful to be able to quickly improvise a bbq for the rehearsal night in The back yard here. The place is spacious and well organized. We all felt right at home. Thanks Mathew and sarah.

Had a Good Stay!

We had a good stay at Mathew and Sarah's place in Vancouver for our large families. There were plenty of space for everyone and the big dinning table/communal area was a plus for our families at the end of the day to relax and decompress. Mathew and Sarah seem like genuine people and take joy and pride in hosting guests in their house. They were extremely responsive and accommodating. The house is older - built in 1913 so there were quirks about the house that we weren't aware - for example, the water pressure is low, you can't run the sink water and shower water at the same time without the having the temperature off. We got used to it after being there for 4 nights. We also told the owners that for the price that we paid, the cleaning could be up a notch given that it's an older house, which they were fully receptive of the feedback. The location is also in the "Little Saigon" area which is centralized to downtown Vancouver but truly in a residential area. While the block that the house is located feels a bit "run-down", we felt safe the entire time we were there.

Amazing spot for our 70th Birthday Celebration!

We were in Vancouver as a family of 10 to celebrate my dad’s big 70th birthday! This property is in an incredible location, close to everything you to need to walk and only a quick 20min drive to virtually every attraction you will want to take in. The property is set up brilliantly- lots of bedrooms With every bed very comfortable, two large full bathrooms, and beautiful open concept kitchen and sitting area with gorgoeus yard! Can’t forget to mentioned very easy checkin, a wonderful welcome and the best/responsive hosts we have had for our rental home! We all can’t wait to come back :-)

Great place not too far from downtown Vancouver close to a train station. Plenty of room for 9 adults. Neighborhood is diverse and safe. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. Would stay again.

Cosy home away from home

We were an extended Family group and the house was comfortable and had plenary of space for everyone to find a quiet space, as well as room to hang out together. Hosts were very responsive and kind. It’s ~30mins walking distance to Queen Elizabeth Park and there is a bus stop that takes you directly to downtown and some restaurants and a supermarket on Kingsway about 300m from the house.

Wonderful stay in Vancouver

This was a great home away from home! It has all the amenities one needs for a fantastic vacation in the Vancouver area. Comfortable beds, luxurious towels, good location. And even parking on the street was easily available. 25 minutes to the airport and lots of neighborhood grocery stores. Mathew and Sarah were also very responsive with any needs we had.
