Préparez-vous pour des vacances reposantes à la plage assis sur le sable de l'île d'Okaloosa. Emerald Isle # 501 est un condo de plage mis à jour offrant un hébergement confortable pour jusqu'à six personnes. Avec deux chambres et un plan d'étage ouvert, vous apprécierez l'espace pour que tout le monde dans votre groupe se détende. Le balcon privé vous appellera à l'extérieur pour regarder de plus près la plage et est facilement accessible depuis le salon et la chambre principale. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec ustensiles de cuisine et vaisselle et a été mise à jour avec des comptoirs en granit et des appareils en acier inoxydable. Vous trouverez une télévision à écran plat dans le salon et les deux chambres, vous permettant de vous détendre avec vos émissions et films préférés en un clin d’œil.

Amazing views and location!

We were looking for a nice condo with amazing views and a close proximity to the beach so that we could relax and hang out as a family. This place checked all the boxes and we had a wonderful time!

Love the views!!

Overall the stay was great! Right on the beach, overall clean property. The unit could use a little bit of updating (popcorn ceilings, light/fan fixture wiring hung up on hooks on the ceiling and then down wall to plug in), but this is only cosmetic stuff… 🙂

Is beautiful and next to the beach and the pool , a sofá cama, a king size bed 2 full beds perfect I hate the check out time is 9 and check in 4 I hated that

Outside porch was filthy , almost black with ash and dirt. Grout in between tile floor was black in some spots - building needs to be pressure washed everywhere and update elevators . great view and good bathrooms

Emerald Isle 501

This is a very nice property. The only issue was that the elevator was broken when we arrived. It stayed that way until the next evening which was aggravating being on the 5th floor. Also, the pool had to be drained while we were there so it was out of service for 1 day. Other than that, it was a perfect visit.

All about the property manager

Great location. Good condo. Frustrating property manager. The entire experience was all about them rather than all about their customers. A completely ridiculous check-out time coupled with a mostly ridiculous check-in time tops the list. Please don't blame COVID. That's just silly and demeaning. The contract process was also all about their 6 page list of rules rather than about my pleasure and enjoyment. All in all it was a good place but not a good experience.

A few Upgrades needed

The property was very clean and had everything my family needed. There are a few things that I would suggest to make it an even better experience. First, I would add a washer and dryer inside the condo instead of only having one option which was the shared laundry room on each floor. There were too many people trying to use it at the same time and some guests forgot to get their laundry out which made it inconvenient for others to use it. I would also suggest putting up visible signs for reserved parking. Someone was parked in our spot multiple times and we had to park quite a bit away from our condo. In others’ defense, it was difficult to see the condo numbers on the parking spots at night due to the lack of lighting. I would also suggest an upgrade in the elevators. They were very slow and would get stuck some of the time. Also, there was no air conditioning in the elevators. Management, however, was very responsive any time we had a question or issue. We would consider staying here again due to the location and cleanliness of the condo.

Condo Review

Overall experience was acceptable in my terminology. The condo was not in the condition as advertised. The balcony furniture was poor at best. There was an obvious safety risk due to the amount of rust present. The sinks in both bathrooms did not drain well at all. This left an absorbent amount of debris in the sinks. I was not able to control the thermostat in the condo, which was highly upsetting. It was a smart thermostat that was being controlled remotely. Two of the closets were junk closets. There is no washer and dryer in the condo, which presents problems. The condo was clean, and the view was beautiful. The elevators were efficiently functioning. The parking space is located spot on. I would not rent this condo again.

Slice of Heaven on the beach

Emerald Isle #501 was the cream of the crop. Premium location. Very nice amenities. Close to lots of good food. And all the small details that makes a place fee like home. My husband and I loved our stay here. Will be back!

3 day stay

We had a great trip at this condo. Was right on the beach. Beautiful views! The major issue was with check in and out times! I understand the time frames for extra cleaning time. But when we arrived a few hours early I could tell the condo was ready but couldn’t get in early. Ok I get somewhat; maybe when the cleaning crew was done we could have been notified and let in. The major issue was when we were packing up and getting ready the leave by 9 I heard some voices outside and found the cleaning crew standing outside our door one hour prior to checkout! Literally standing there waiting for us to leave, this made us feel very rushed to leave. We were going to sit on the balcony for awhile before we left for a 9 hour drive home. Didn’t care for that at all. If we couldn’t get in early they should not be there until after we had left. One of the things we will look for when looking at places to stay in the future are washer and dryer in the condo ( didn’t feel we should have to pay to wash clothes for the price).
