Disappointing
The following were issues we encountered:
1.Misrepresentation of the privacy around the property. The listing speaks to the privacy from the wrap around deck - you can literally see into the kitchen of another house that sits on the same property (within 100 feet). There is absolutely nothing private about this house.
2. The hot tub has a ring of algae growing along the top of the water line. It is clearly not treated properly.
3.The amount of dust in the house is as shocking. The blinds are all completely covered in dust, the light fixtures in the bathroom are covered and have dead bugs in them, the furniture has dust in it.
4. No answer at the after hours number on Sundays. We called 6 times in 4 hours and no one ever answered nor is there an option to leave a message.
5.The listing says there is a dishwasher- there is not.
6.The listing should state only one roll of toilet paper and paper towels are provided so people know to bring their own. And, the rolls provided should be new not partially used.
We rented this property for a private, romantic weekend away. We specifically asked if there is a hot tub as that was important to us. The hot tub was dirty and far from private. Yesterday, the person renting the other house was playing with her dog right next to the deck where the hot tub sits. We have more privacy in our backyard at home.
