Relax and unwind in this newly renovated cozy log cabin with year-round mountain views. Conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, the cabin is tastefully decorated in rustic mountain décor and all new furniture.

The main living area includes a stone gas fireplace, big screen smart TV and kitchen/dining area fully equipped with everything you may need. Relax and unwind in a log king bed on the main level or a queen log bed in the upstairs loft. Both levels have a full bathroom. Newly installed central heat and air conditioning system will keep you toasty warm or cool and comfortable in any weather.

Outside, you will enjoy the covered porch with a seating area and a brand new state-of-the-art hot tub. Sit by the fire overlooking the view in a newly installed fire-pit area with six Adirondack chairs that are sure to keep you comfortable. Guests can now also enjoy the fully furnished guest house in the backyard which makes an excellent space for kids! This space is complete with an eating nook and beverage cooler as well as a cozy living room area with sofas and a large TV (Xbox compatible for those with an Xbox account). Upstairs, find two queen beds in the sleeping loft. This area also offers guests a portable unit that offers air conditioning and heat for guest comfort. A private deck and outdoor heating feature have been added to the guest house.

This peaceful, quiet, and beautiful setting is going to inspire you to spend some quality time with nature, family, and friends, including the four-legged ones.

This home allows up to 4 dogs for an additional rent of $25 per night per pet plus taxes. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
Firewood for the fire pit may be added at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You'll receive two kiln-dried packs of wood and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
AWD/4WD is needed for all mountain homes in the winter in case of snow or ice. Please plan accordingly.
This homeowner has installed a Ring camera to ensure their home remains safe. No cameras are on the back deck, hot tub area, or interior of the home.

Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of he deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
