2nd visit to Susan’s place in pontcanna and it did not disappoint. We spent Xmas there and it was fabulous. Property accommodated the whole family and the kitchen was super stocked with everything to prepare meals for all. Pontcanna and its proximity to town is fabulous. We will return (again!). Thank you.

A superb property that provided everything for our group of eight. Within walking distance of city centre and close to local shops, pubs and bars etc., An excellent hamper provided a very welcoming sight on our arrival after a long journey. Celebrating a special birthday in Pontcanna

We all enjoyed our stay in Susan's house. The house is very well equipped, which was great for our stay. Perfect location - walking distance from the local shops, pubs, restaurants etc. We had good communication with the host as and when needed, and she also left a welcome basket which was a lovely touch. This house is definitely recommended.

Amazing Weekend

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful property celebrating our daughters birthday weekend. The house and garden are absolutely stunning. Prior to arrival we were sent lots of information which also included recommended restaurants which gave us plenty of time to make reservations. The welcome pack was a real treat. It was a 5 star weekend from start to finish.

Maison de charme dans un bel environnement

Dans un quartier préservé, la maison de Susan a un charme fou et a été très confortable pour les 4 fans de rugby que nous étions. Chaque détail est bien pensé avec les touches de modernité nécessaires. Le jardin est un havre de paix. La propreté impeccable. Les attentions de Susan pour l’accueil sont charmantes. Il y a un esprit unique dans ces lieux : c’était juste parfait !

Weekend in Pontcanna

A very well appointed and equipped property. A large kitchen/diner perfect for eating together/gathering. Fantastic location. A lovely welcome basket greeted us and excellent communication with host both before and during the stay. Will be back!

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood

My family and I (4 adults, 3 teenagers) had a fabulous stay in Pontcanna. The beds and linens were comfortable, the home's decor was lovely, and the location was perfect. It is a nice short walk to many restaurants and cafes, the park, the Cardiff Castle, and the lively business district near the castle. We spent most days traveling around southern and western Wales; this home was conveniently situated. The host left us a great welcome basket and was quick to respond to any inquiries. I'd definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to Cardiff.

Lovely updated traditional terraced home with great decor, furnishings and a lovely town garden. The home is located in probably the best, quiet, road in Pontcanna. There are many great pubs, cafes & restaurants within a short walk, along with really easy access to everything Cardiff city centre has to offer and only a short drive to local beauty spots in the Vale of Glamorgan and Brecon Beacons. Susan was a great host, who provided a lovely welcome basket and was always available to answer quesitons.

A lovely place, which is well placed!

Our family of two 60+ and three 30+ were immediately at home in this house. A quiet location less than 20 min walk from the castle and the Principality Stadium, and hence the city centre. The kitchen is enormous and superbly equipped, with thoughtful extras in the fridge. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and helpful from the first booking contact.

Elegant home just a short walk from Cardiff centre

We thoroughly enjoyed a family Christmas in this lovely home with comfortable bedrooms and a large sociable kitchen. It was very well equipped with all we needed to feed everyone and must be lovely opening on to the garden in the summer. The area is peaceful, near the park for the dog and just a short 20 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. We would gladly use it again.
