La cabane de retraite de la riviĂšre Moonshine situĂ©e dans le parc Rock Hill se trouve Ă  quelques minutes du parc d'État Beavers Bend et bordĂ©e par la forĂȘt nationale d'Ouachita. Le nom de la cabine a Ă©tĂ© inspirĂ© par la riche histoire et la culture de la rĂ©gion de fabrication de Moonshine pendant la pĂ©riode d'interdiction.

L'intĂ©rieur de la cabine est Ă  la fois rustique et serein, avec toutes les commoditĂ©s que vous pourriez attendre d'une maison de vacances. À 1100 pieds carrĂ©s, la cabine dispose d'une laveuse et sĂ©cheuse pleine grandeur, deux salles de bain complĂštes et deux chambres avec lits queen. Il peut accueillir 4 personnes confortablement. Le salon dispose d'une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat de 102 cm et d'une tĂ©lĂ©vision par satellite. La salle Ă  manger est sĂ©parĂ©e et donne sur le porche arriĂšre et la belle forĂȘt.

La cuisine possĂšde de nouveaux appareils, dont une grande cuisiniĂšre Ă  gaz et un four, un four micro-ondes, un rĂ©frigĂ©rateur avec une machine Ă  glaçons, un lave-vaisselle, une cafetiĂšre, un mixeur et mĂȘme une mijoteuse pour des repas faciles.

The cabin was spacious and well stocked with cooking appliances and utensils. The hot tub was nice. We loved staying here.

Hot tub was okay, but may be time for an upgrade so the jets work properly. The TV remote for the living room worked perfectly. However, neither bedroom remote would adjust volume or turn off the tv (a minor thing, yes.... but still). The cabin was clean and perfect as always and as this was our 5 time to stay here, we hope it will always be available! Thank you again for a wonderful retreat and the use of your awesome cabin!

Better than expected

Beautiful cabin but..

We came to Broken Bow for a wedding and stayed at Moonshine River for two nights. From all of the great reviews we were very excited to stay here. The cabin was beautiful as the pictures depicted but upon entering, it smelled musty. And no one slept well the entire time because we were all very congested. I don't know if it was something in the cabin based on the musty smell, but the air vents were filthy. Also only half of the jets in the hot tub worked and all of the towels in the bathrooms were dirty. The TV in the bedroom was extremely frustrating and apparently whoever stayed there before us also could not control the TV with the remote, because we found it unplugged and that was the only way to turn it on and off. Also the wires were all just hanging from the TV with the cable box precariously balanced on top. I'm glad I did not have my grandchildren with me or that would have been an electrical hazard. May I suggest putting a dresser under the TV? And all of the end tables, night stands, etc., needed to be dusted and wiped down. With the extra maintenance and cleaning fees we pay when booking, I expected better! I hate that I have to leave this negative review. It is the first negative review I have ever left on VRBO. I hope it is taken seriously and these issues are addressed because it really is a beautiful cabin and location. It just needs a little better cleaning and maintenance.

Just what we needed!!

We needed a place that was affordable, secluded and quiet and Spacious for our dogs to roam free off leash. It was a beautiful property just the right size. The amenities were great. I would recommend a new mattress, though I had to sleep on the couch some. But it is a great stay. Excellent location. Close to everything. .

Loved the location!

The cabin was so cute and clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was perfect and pretty secluded. We stayed for 2 nights. The only disappointing part was after the first night, we had no hot water, so showers were ice cold.

Pretty good

The cabin was nice and clean , my only complaints are the bedding and beds weren't good quality so it was hard to sleep and they had no coffee which we thought was weird. Great location and easy to access. Our neighbors were extremely loud and had flashlights shining through to our cabin so it was hard to enjoy our fire.

Adorable Cabin

We loved the location of our cabin. It is on the end of a road with lots of privacy. We loved the caving, the hot tub was great, and it was overall in a great location! The winery down the road we highly recommend!

Amazing 25th Anniversary Get-Away

We spent our 25th anniversary at Moonshine River Retreat. The cabin was so beautiful, clean and comfortable. This was our first visit to the Broken Bow/Hochatown area and we really enjoyed it. We plan to come back. I would definitely recommend eating at Shuck Me and visiting the candy stores. Can’t wait to visit again.

Cozy Clean Cute Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moonshine River Retreat. It is located at the end of the road and felt like our group was on a private piece of land. It was perfectly clean and offered all the amenities that we needed. It rained one day we were there, but still got to enjoy the outside and wild life because of the patio (front and one in back with the hot tub). Perfect for a weekend get away with the family or small group retreat. Would highly recommend!!
