Cozy home in safe and convenient location.

Rental was clean and well equipped. It was perfect for our family. It was comfortable. The owner was great with communication, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Convenient Location for Sharks Game

Good size house, decent price, easy to access from highway, 20min walk to SAP center for hockey game. Neighborhood is quiet. Needs basic supplies like oil and salt for cooking; some bathroom fixtures need to be tightened or replaced but nothing that we couldn't deal with. I'd go back again.

We had problems the moment we walked in the door and it was 58 degrees inside the home. They were utilizing two splitters in opposite ends of the home for heat and air conditioning. They also expected you to use electric heaters for the remainder of the house. These units are a fire hazard and also would have blown the electric according to their handyman. They had an archaic heater that was marked not in use but two days later when the handyman arrived, he relit it. He also had to repair the shower which had no hot water. As for the two couches in the so called living room, they too needed to be replaced. They had blankets thrown over them to hide the numerous stains and total dilapidation. You could only use them if you sat on pillows. It literally hurt! The handyman also measured for new furniture while at the home due to my numerous calls to VRBO. Let’s be clear, VRBO knew of all of the problems throughout the stay and never offered any assistance! The management company has no one local to actually address any issues in person. They just continue to bombard you with automated messaging. As for the overall cleanliness, it was greatly lacking. There was literally an inch high mushroom growing next to the shower door! The floors would dirty your socks. The stove, microwave, dishes and countertops were greasy. We would wash them as we used them. The dishes, bowls and utensils were limited. There were probably 6 of each. I have pictures to support each statement.

Tournament Weekend! ⚜

It was nice, clean awesome shower in 1 bath. Kinda of small. We didnt know it was duplex. I thought it was a house. But iverall served its purpose. The kids came in 3rd place, so they dont get the Trophy. Thank you fof your hospitality! We definitely will use MarBella Prooerties again! Have a great day! Denise, Family & Friends! Very clean place

My family was very impressed with the house. It was very clean, smell really nice and cold when you walked in. It didn’t smell like someone staying there before you. However, the place is on wooden foundations so it makes loud noises when you walk around the place. Both bathrooms are small. The place is close to the train track so it’s noisy when the train passes through. I give it 5 stars because I’m a clean freak and the place is up to my standard. I care more about cleanliness so I’m okay with the noises from the train and the house foundation.

Cute place needs a little TLC

Stay was just okay. The place was located near everything which was a bonus. It needs a little TLC. Beds were terribly uncomfortable (main bedroom bed was broken in the middle of the bed), furniture was old and dirty. The bathroom was moist and moldy. We actually had mushrooms growing in the bathroom. It was chilly at night and our mini-split in our bedroom didn't work, so it was cold and moist for most of the stay The washing machine only washed on the hottest setting. My son knocked over a fan in the middle of the night and we got a NoiseAware email stating that we could be kicked out if we didn't follow the house rules. The place was very clean when we arrived, but it definitely needs some work if they continue to rent.

Minimalistic, but useful

If you’re looking for a place to crash at a good price this is it. The real beds were comfortable although the couches would be tough as beds. The kitchen is fully functional for one meal at a time, absolutely no extra supplies or place settings. The living room is an odd set up, but we don’t vacation for tv so it works. The showers have great pressure and plenty of heat, you’ll get one towel set each so bring an extra if you have long hair. Also pack games, plus there is no blender and very few mirrors
 things I find most places? Overall these owners were very informative and great to communicate with and it was exactly as advertised. Just not an above and beyond place.

No hot water; terrible response.

As documented by me in several emails, text msgs, & phone calls, we checked in Fri night. No hot water from any tap. We were assured the mngmnt co would send the maintenance team. This didn’t happen until late Sunday afternoon or evening. By then all five of us had checked out and went to a hotel. I have requested a full refund for three days, but so far have only been offered a fraction of that. I have not completed my complaint process, and will be in touch w Marbella and VRBO in the coming week. I would highly recommend that NO ONE book through this Marbella company in San Jose CA. They “manage” several properties. Terrible customer service. Nothing else matters if the property is not occupy-able.

My stay

The house was a nice three bedroom. We was watching tv pass 10pm and I guess the neighbors complained because it was to loud but we wasn’t playing no music! Other than that it was okay but I feel like the pricing for the place to stay can be lower a little bit. The host was nice and responded quickly whenever I had a question.

Nice place to stay

This property was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. It had 3 comfortable bedrooms and a great kitchen that was minimally stocked with dishes, pots and pans - enough to cook breakfast and lunch. The big kitchen table was great and having a washing machine was very convenient. The house worked well for our family vacation with young children to be close to family. The two drawbacks were: while in Willow Glen, this was not the best part of the neighborhood, across the street from a liquor store, and right next to the train tracks with Amtrack and CalTrain going by at least once an hour, which was very noisy. However, we did not have any issues and did feel safe. Secondly, there is no living room in this house. While there are two small sofas in the kitchen, there is no space to relax. The house has a big TV but it is impossible to watch unless you are watching from the table - no movie nights or cartoons for the kids. The TV would have been much more useful in one of the bedrooms. The lack of living room space could potentially be remedied by having some outdoor furniture in the backyard, which would have been comfortable and had a beautiful bougainvillea (although the dogs on the other side of the fence did bark and jump against the fence aggressively whenever we went outside). The backyard patio was virtually unusable space with no seating. Otherwise, this was a very nice duplex that was affordable and a great value!

Needed a place to stay while our floors were being refinished. It was a great home away from home.

Needed multiple rooms for my high school and college son to do their online classes and school work. It was perfect for us. It was quiet, clean, close to restaurants.
