On this occasion the owner has taken the time to respond as they find all comments helpful when deciding what improvements need to be made to their property. "We are very happy that you had such an enjoyable stay in this unique and spacious property. Guest feedback has been enormously useful in helping us decide and prioritising work within our apartment. As a direct result of customer feedback we have upgraded bedroom furniture and mattresses, revamped bathrooms to include a double walk-in shower in the family bathroom, in addition we have made improvements to the outdoor area and amenities. Our objective is to provide high quality accommodation and therefore we are always delighted to hear guests have had a wonderful stay in The Chapter House."

The Chapter House is ideal for up to 6 people however, if two properties are reserved it has the option of a large entertaining space with 10 seater dining table. An added bonus is that it has a small private garden which proves extremely popular for family groups during the better weather. As you know the Chapter House is in close proximity to The Sacristy and therefore makes an ideal combination when booked for larger groups of up to 10 people. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. As you have mentioned this is a stunning, spacious property with a charming garden. I see your reservation comprised of only adults and therefore I wanted to point out that we have had many families who have stayed in the property over the years who have enjoyed the space and the ability to allow children to play in the enclosed garden. The owner is extremely forward leaning and has plans to make the garden more attractive for smaller children by adding some play equipment. We appreciate your concern over the suitability for elderly guests and in order that people can make an informed decision The Chapter House is located on the ground floor and has small flight of steps to the mezzanine living area. Clearly both myself (letting Agent) and the owner are disappointed to hear that the accommodation fell short of your expectations regarding the garden furniture. We have now put into place a clear protocol for cleaning and maintaining the garden furniture and garden. You are correct in the fact that it is a real bonus to have private outside space and we intend to remedy the points you have mentioned. Both shaver points have been checked an are now fully functioning. We are delighted you had a wonderful holiday and that the you enjoyed all the historical features and close proximity to Loch Ness. The Chapter House is indeed very special as it maintains that fine balance between modernity and the unique historical features within the property. The abbey provides a real "back to basics" ethos for all the family with a great selection of family games and activities all included in the price. Being located at the heart of the Highlands and a real beauty spot it is inevitable that this attracts visitors and therefore those considering a holiday may wish to look at some of the off peak periods which offer plenty to do in the area but are less busy. Thank you for your comment regarding the beds. The owner of The Chapter House is extremely proactive and has taken your comment on board; whilst all of the beds had been provided with new toppers they are now in the process of upgrading beds.
