WE HAVE PICKLE BALL NOW!! POOL IS OPEN!! BRING YOUR PADDLES!! And an amazing HOT TUB!! everything is completely PRIVATE to you and your guests. 1.5 miles to DT New Braunfels and Gruene.
house is on a huge lot right in the middle of town and everything that is awesome about new braunfels and Gruene. 6 blocks from schlitterbahn. Just minutes from all the tubing companies and all the river entrances for both the Guadalupe and Comal River. House has a huge kitchen and two full bathrooms. There is a propane and charcoal barbecue pit. There is a fire pit. Also relax and have some beverages in the sports bar/lounge right behind your house. The bar/lounge is completely private to you and your guests. The pickle ball court is shared with the other house on the property. (no unauthorized parties). if you wanna host a party of 25 or more there is an extra event fee $) ***you can book the entire resort privately. There is another house and resort style pool available. This house has it all! Seriously- even a bidet! We rented for the Renaissance Faire and a birthday party and it was perfect for the 9 people aged 21-30. They had an absolute blast and really enjoyed all of the amenities the property has to offer.

The home was super cozy and loved having all of the space outdoors for the kids and dog to run around. The host was great and easy to communicate with as well.

Great Getaway!!

This property has it all!! One stop shop, but so close to town, shopping and night life if you prefer. Great host, available for any needs. Clean property and amazing amenities!! Loved it for our girls weekend!!

Booked for a group of family/friends. The property owner is an absolute treasure. The property itself is on a nice piece of land & had three very sweet farm cats that added comedy and charm. The photos of the venue were misleading. The home is off to the side of the pool. The pool was fun for the kids & a nice set up. The kids mentioned that the water tasted funny. They described it as fermented or rotten apple not chlorine, so we figure the pool may have been filled with well water. Even so, it didn’t stop them from playing in the pool. The inside of the house was as pictured. The lighting was mild in the evenings. Some of the fixtures did not work. The third bedroom sits behind the dining area in a room that looks to have been added post build & was off putting for our party so we had to make some alternate arrangements to sleep in the living room area so they felt more comfortable. The washer & dryer are located in the garage. One of the reasons I book homes is to get homelike accommodation when we travel & wash clothes as needed. I took supplies & tried to use the machines but the washer spin function kept getting stuck, regardless of load size. 4 hours to dry. I took 2 trash bags of dirty/wet clothes home. 1st world problem, but didn’t give the convenience I thought I was paying for. The property is pet friendly. Pet hair was in the air and all over couch. Tough on our allergies. Also smelled like prev guests smoked. Owner sent maid to vacuum sofa day 2. Left 1 day early

Memory filled Easter Sunday!!

We spent 4day and 3 nights here at the Toes up Resort. Our family loved the pool with hot tub. We spent a lot of time in the pool. It had plenty of seating. It was equipped with a music system for the pool area and a TV to watch sports. It has a pool bar area and cooking area. It had ceiling fans under the shade in the pool area which is good for the Texas heat. It had bathrooms near the pool area withac and were clean! The game room was also full equipped and our family spent a lot of time there as well. It is equipped with AC, TV, pool table, dart board, poker table and surround system with strobe lights. There's also a hot tub on the back deck with privacy. The house has plenty of space. It has a TV in every room and the kitchen is fully equipped. Best part of the house is the outdoor areas. We loved the deer roaming the property. We had a bonfire and the property has several fire pits. Plenty of room to run around and play game. Plenty of parking space. The river is 5 mins away. It's very close to downtown day & night life. Tubbing is so fun!! The property is close to stores. And the owner Lance was so friendly. We also had 2 mini pets that enjoyed the yard

GREAT Location & Awesome Host!

We rented this home for a friends Bachelorette Party and we were not disappointed!! The owner was absolutely accommodating, very responsive, friendly and always made sure the outside lights and music were on for us when we got back from town. It is really in a perfect location to visit Gruene, float the river or go into New Braunfels. I would HIGHLY recommend this property, and we will for sure be back in the future!

Quick Visit

The location was great and the property was unique. Lots of room for kids to run & play and great spaces for the adults to hang out. The check-in process was easy, the property owner available for and responsive to questions, and the check-out responsibilities were minimal.

Perfect doesn't say enough! ✅

When looking for a place, I knew what we needed and wanted for a relaxing and memorial weekend visit. Upon arriving, we received a friendly and helpful greeting from our host, Lance, who was overseeing last minute touches. ✅ Don't let the outside of home cause you to pass this one by! Smiles all around as we entered a warm, beautifully cleaned, and Christmas decorated home. The family of deer who hung around the house throughout the day was a pleasant surprise. This ended up being perfect all the way around for my hopes and needs for a get together with adult kids and grand children who live in the area. ✅ Comfort is always important, but with a 90 year old mom, it's critical. ✅ Kitchen was fully stocked, which helped me to get meals on the table without delay. Plus, a working Keurig with a wide coffee selection that helped us start the day. ✅ Not only did we have ample and comfortable seating for 8 healthy adults, but also two teenagers. Watching TV in the living room was seriously relaxing. ✅ If you wanted to hang out and watch TV, you could do so in the comfy reclining couches and loveseat. I could go on about the host (thanks, Lance, for quick TV assist when needed), the community, the home and all the little details, but I'll just end by saying that we'd gladly book another stay when in the area. Hot tub, fire ring for s'mores, river proximity for tubing and the club house are extras bonuses that you might enjoy with this home. Thank you, Lance!

Family Vacay

Our stay was great! We were visiting for a family wedding and this house was central to all the fun things in Gruene/New Braunfels. We loved the space in the house but we really loved the outside! It is secluded and we enjoyed the pickle ball court, hot tub and pool table! We sat outside and drank our coffee and watched deer in the back yard. It was relaxing and tons of fun. Highly recommend!

So Wonderful

This place was perfect for our group which included myself, my daughter and my grand baby plus my son and his three friends who are all 18. The house had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen. The “man cave” and the pickle all court kept The boys happy and the location to Schlitterbahn was perfect! Lance was a great host who went above and behind to make sure our stay was enjoyable!!

Great time

Great weekend getaway

Lance was an excellent property owner and was extremely helpful with anything we could’ve needed. Lance upon our arrival was welcoming and continued this throughout our stay. I would highly recommend his place to anyone looking to relax without any worries.

River trip

We go to the river every spring break, and this was our favorite place we have stayed so far. It was close to everything. We went to the tube shoot and Gruene everyday, and both were only minutes away. The place was awesome, and the kids really enjoyed the party room. The host was always very receptive and got us everything we asked for. We will be back.

Overall, this is as described and we so enjoyed all the deer in the backyard. There were a couple of hiccups for us though. The photos and description of this didn’t make it apparent that 1)the owner lives right next door and 2) the pool space is in the owner’s backyard, not the rental property’s space. The owner commented on the length of time my kids spent in the hot tub, so it was definitely not a private space. A few cats were on the front porch when we arrived, which wasn’t great since we were bringing our dog. We also found the primary bed very uncomfortable, to the point that we both ended up sleeping on the couch at various times, trying to get comfortable. It just wasn’t our ideal getaway spot, but others may have different priorities that it would work well for. The owner is very responsive and accommodating.

Girls trip success

This house was everything we could have ever needed and wanted from a place to stay. The pool/outdoor area was great. The little “club” house was fun for teenagers. Music, pool table, darts, lights
The distance to Gruene & New Braunfels was perfect. Waking up to deer all around the property was a very cool bonus. Def loved our stay here. Owner lives on property & was incredibly nice & attentive. Loved everything about the place & our trip.

Would give more stars if I could

Was the absolute perfect spot for a group of friends wanting a fun and relaxing weekend. Lance could not have been nicer or more accomodating. Perfect location, but found myself just wanting to hang at the awesome pool area the whole time. Will definitely be back!

We rented the house from Lance to celebrate my mother and my wife's birthday with our adult children and their families. It is a great size for an extended family, 8-12 adults. Lots to do on site, and close to everything in town. Pool area is very nice...kids enjoyed the gameroom put back...will be back to hopefully enjoy some river time.

An incredible getaway

We had the BEST time at Toes up. The house was so cozy and comfortable. The pool, the party room and the entire backyard was set up for a fun time. Lance was amazing. He set up everything outside for us each day. We hardly saw him but knew we could contact him anytime for help if needed. We will definitely be renting here again.
