Less than seven miles from our Brandywine Valley accommodations, Ridley Creek State Park is a great place to spend an afternoon. The park features over 12 miles of hiking and biking trails, a number of picnic areas and excellent fishing opportunities. Longwood Gardens features 40 indoor and outdoor gardens. Visitors can explore the Conservatory or tour the historic Pierce-du Pont House featuring the largest, yellow cucumber magnolia tree in the country.
