Spacieux et confortable, parfait pour des vacances en famille. Plage de sable dorĂ©. Une vue imprenable sur le dĂ©troit de Northumberland depuis la plage et le front de mer, y compris la traversĂ©e en ferry vers l'Î.-P.-É. Depuis l'Ăźle Caribou, l'Ăźle Pictou et parfois mĂȘme l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard elle-mĂȘme. 3 chambres, 1 salle de bain complĂšte et 1 demi-bain. Grande cuisine et salon / salle Ă  manger sĂ©parĂ©s. Porche avant fermĂ© pour le cafĂ© du matin et une grande terrasse arriĂšre pour le barbecue. 10 minutes en voiture du parc provincial Melmerby Beach. 15 minutes en voiture de la ville de New Glasgow. 1. 5 heures de route jusqu'Ă  Halifax. Choix de 2 terrains de golf locaux. Les attractions Ă  proximitĂ© incluent le musĂ©e de l'industrie et le centre des arts de la scĂšne deCoste Ă  New Glasgow. It was marvelous. The view of the gulf, the back deck. The property manager BJ was very helpful. The cottage is very nice and comfortable. Lots to do nearby, we hope to be back.

Go North!

We enjoyed our stay in this tranquil Northumberland Shore location. Well kept older cottage in a prime, private setting. Friendly neighbors and a beautiful view in all directions. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back sometime!

Felt very much like home as opposed to a rental. The views where amazing. The host Bill, and Cathy and Brian made us feel like we where friends not just another customer highly recommend for a nova scotia stay. If you want a great relaxing vacation its a great spot..

Bissful Retreat

The cottage looks directly out on the ocean and offers an amazing vista each day regardless of the weather. Really enjoyed the many hours on the beach enjoying the views, relaxing, swimming and reading. Cathie and BJ are wonderful hosts attentive to every need.

Another Great Stay

Our fourth year here and it does not disappoint! Beach is beautiful and and easy access to day trips to PEI or Cape Breton is the weather is not cooperating. Jacqueline had the place spotless for our arrival and JB the caretaker and his life partner Kate are true gems! Highly recommend this location!

We enjoyed our trip 100%. The cottage supplied everything that you could need. We really enjoyed the screened sun porch. The views were spectacular ; the weather was fantastic. We will definitely return. Our host Bill was extremely helpful and even called to see how we were settling in.

Outstanding !

We really enjoyed our stay. The weather was hot & sunny every day so the kids were able to enjoy the ocean and sandy beach during the day, and have smores at the beach bonfire at night. The cottage is very clean with lots of room . The covered sun porch out front was amazing !

Great return Visit

Great trip!! We returned this year and were not disappointed. The cottage was excellent. Spotless and well stocked with a check in call with the owner as a nice touch. JB the property manager and his family are excellent nearby contacts also.

Excellent stay

The location on a bluff overlooking the water was superb. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. The caretakers were friendly and helpful in any situation. The owner checked in on us many times during our time there. The stars on a clear night were amazing. I plan to stay there again in the future.

Beachfront Cottage

Had another excellent stay at our favorite Blackpoint Cottage . Coming here is like coming home. The cottage is clean and spacious and welcoming. It is fully equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cathy and BJ the property managers are terrific and are there at a moments notice if you have any questions ... and dealing with the owner is seamless! A wonderful vacation, a lovely cottage and a perfect location . Thank you and hope to return next summer 🙏

The Cottage was built by my grandparents in 1946. It was refurbished by my parents in 2001 with an addition, and has been conscientiously maintained since then. A family treasure, the Cottage is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Nova Scotia. Unfortunately, hurricane Fiona took down many trees in September 2022, so the area is still recovering.from tree loss.

The Cottage bears Nova Scotia registration number STR2526B8865 valid to March 31, 2026. By local regulation, three percent of guests' base payments are remitted to Pictou County for tourism marketing and improvement annually. The fee is subject to HST.
