Joan was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and informative. She made sure we had all of the info we needed to have an easy and happy stay, including leaving cold bottled water in the fridge waiting for us. As a COVID-conscious traveler, I especially loved that they have a Winix Smart Air Purifier (HEPA filter) running in the kitchen. The condo was immaculate, there were fresh towels and linens, the dining room and living room are spacious and welcoming. We picked this location because of its walking distance proximity to the Aragon Ballroom, and would absolutely stay here again. One extra note: the front stairwell is curved while the back stairs are a more traditional staircase, so if you have suitcases, you might have an easier time bringing them in/out using the back stairs. Thank you, Joan, for making our first visit to Chicago a wonderful one!

We chose this property because it is close to our event and had off street parking included. It was very nice and we enjoyed the space. Communication was great. We appreciated that it is a very clean and included a lot of small details like sparkling water in the fridge and coffee available in the pantry.

Nicest place i have stayed in years! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to be in the Chicago area. So clean, nice and thoughtful. Zero issues whatsoever. Super spacious with all kinds of little luxuries that not every place offers. The host was very good at communicating and pleasant.

The apartment is very large and comfortable. The private parking space was important to me because I didn’t want to search for parking late at night. The location is walking distance to many food options. I would definitely stay again.

Long Weekend

My husband and I came to Chicago for a long weekend with our kids, ages 9 & 6. This apartment was absolutely perfect for us and had plenty of space. The check in and out process were extremely smooth, and I really appreciated the videos Joan sent ahead of time so I knew exactly what to expect and how to access the parking in the back of the building (the included parking was huge for us and so appreciated). The apartment itself came stocked with plenty of toilet paper, shampoo/soap, towels, bedding etc. We were there for 3 full days and didn't have to purchase a thing. The apartment itself was spotless and I loved all of the decor. Our kids shared a room and had plenty of space. It is on the 3rd floor so keep that in mind, but none of us have mobility issues so that wasn't a problem. It's a short walk away from a red line station which was so convenient for us to get around. We found several coffee shops and breakfast places within walking distance, and one night we came back around 9:30 pm after being out all day and didn't feel unsafe at all. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Chicago!

Best secret in Chicago

Renting a house can be unpredictable, but this property exceeded expectations. All appliances, furniture, decorations, linens, towels, etc., are new or updated. The location is excellent, and parking was invaluable given the challenges of overnight parking in Chicago. Joan is an exceptional host and very responsive. We accidentally left some items behind after checking out, and Joan resolved the issue promptly. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Joan!

Sunny, welcoming Uptown delight!

The property was better than listed because of Joan's great communication & thoughtfulness. There was bottled & flavored sparkling water, coffee, tea and spices!!- a cook's dream; olive oil and balsamic plus awesome Brazilian coffee- it felt like home ( but a whole lot neater and great towels. ). Joan thoughtfully asked if we could manage stairs (cuz we're older) and it was lovely having a Nice upstairs view. Great location too- the green mill and Fat cat easy walks- art galleries , Montrose beach and the CTA stop super close We will be back!

Great place to stay in Chicago - especially for a large family!

The hostess was very nice, warm and accommodating. Lower two levels of townhouse provide a huge amount of space for the family to spread out and enjoy solitary times as well as a large living room and kitchen for gatherings. The furniture was quite comfortable. The rooms were spotless and three bathrooms were well-stocked. There were plenty of dishes, cookware and a dishwasher as well as basic cooking supplies. The location was great - the subway is a few blocks away. Several restaurants nearby, including a great breakfast place (Breakfast House). My six year old granddaughter said she wanted to live there for good! I would highly recommend!

A hidden gem

Great communication with the owner and she was very responsive. This 4 bedroom unit was everything it was advertised. Very clean and close to downtown Chicago. My grandbabies loved the playground across the street. The parking for our two cars was awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

Located in Uptown Neighborhood in Chicago- easily accessible by the CTA Red line Train (2 blocks walk to Lawrence subway station) and one block walk to Lawrence and Kenmore bus stop.

Uptown offers a unique blend of history and ethnic diversity. The Green Mill is a classic Jazz club that used to be a hangout spot for Al Capone, it is still popular to this day. This entertainment district is anchored by the Aragon Ballroom and Riviera Theatre which are bustling with shows through the weekend.

Argyle is one block away. If you believe in eating where the locals eat, Argyle is most certainly the place to go; this is authentic cooking, with no tourist traps to be found. Vietnamese restaurants and bakeries are the most plentiful, with various disciplines of Chinese food a respectable second, and Thai restaurants. There are even Ethiopian, Lebanese, Indian cuisine options.
