Great location in historic center of Bordeaux. Good neighborhood. Easy walk to various historical and shopping areas. Comfortably holds six. Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher.

Great location, very spacious. Walking distance to great restaurants and sights. We had a late check in b/c our train was canceled. Had to pay a late fee, understandable but disappointed since was not our fault. Three bathrooms but only one hairdryer. Would definitely come back.

Visit to Bordeaux

We had an amazing time in Bordeaux and our apartment was absolutely amazing, fully equipped with lots of sunlight. We were warmly welcomed and shown around the apartment. The apartment is perfected situated. I would definitely recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone traveling to Bordeaux.

Fabulous apartment in the heart of Bordeaux

My family and I absolutely loved our stay Castillon - BDX The apartment is beautiful, light filled , clean and a tribute to interior design. We were very close to everything we needed. Lovely Lucie communicated with us easily, which was much appreciated. We will be back ! And would definitely recommend.

Bordeaux 3 bedroom flat in central location

Great 3 bedroom in center of bordeaux, in great shape and would stay there again ; we had three couples and was comfortable ; very good communication and check in /check out ; was a little noisy at night - but was in middle of town, be aware up 3 flights of steps and says three bathrooms - but two showers, one bath, and 2 toilets ; We were happy with this rental at reasonable price for location and good shape,.

Apartment review - Bordeaux

Hi We had a lovely stay in our apartment. Location was great - and the apartment itself was beautifully decorated. Also our contact Lucie was very responsive, friendly and helpful. So thanks to her for all her help - she was very easy to deal with and went over and above to help. Checkout at 10am is very early and on Sunday there is nowhere open to store your luggage. We did find it somewhat noisy at night due to the location. & also the resident in the apartment above us was talking very loudly on the phone at 4am. Having said that we loved the apartment and would like to return. Thanks - Fionnuala

Beautiful Flat in a Perfect Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our spacious, light-filled apartment. Everything was clean and in excellent condition, and the modern kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped. Location could not be better - in the pedestrian area near the opera house, and many restaurants. It was a 5-minute walk to get groceries. Communication with the property manager, Lucie, was very easy, and she assisted us with several special requests/arrangements. We would recommend the flat for adult couples -- our party of 4 was the perfect size for this. The flat can sleep 6, but we enjoyed having room to spread out. As others have mentioned, there are 3 flights of steps to access the flat, so this is not the best choice for those who would find that difficult. However, the light and view from a corner of the pedestrian area make the climb worth while!

Decide for yourself after seeing pros and cons

I am trying to be very honest about our stay because some of the things that bothered me, won't be a problem for other people. Keep in mind we were traveling with two children, a 5yo, and a 2yo so this definitely impacted our experience.Pros:The apartment is in a good location, several things to do within walking distance (restaurants, shopping, park, pharmacy).Apartment is spacious for a familyApartment has all the basics for a nice stay - Kitchen is equipped, bathrooms are stocked, etc.Pack and Play was provided for my daughterThere is a washing machine, although no dryer as mentioned in the description, only a drying rack.Cons:It is located in a pedestrian street which means we could not park in front and unload the car before taking car to parking lot. We had to park and drag our luggage, kids/big stroller in order to get to the apartment.No elevator (we knew this from listing), but I found that there are more stairs than I expected. If you have no small children and/or are traveling light, this is not a big deal, but for us it was a lot.A few times, the apartment would smell like something rotten! It seemed to be coming out of the hallway bathroom. I saw this mentioned in a review after the fact, which makes me think owners are aware and haven't fixed it.Upstairs neighbors talking loudly at all hours. I woke up several times at night with people talking/fighting, not sure.So you can decide if these are issues for your or not.

Overall à very good place. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Close to several different tram lines so really easy to navigate the city. Walk out of the city center area to find artisnal boulangeries and local coffee shops. The interior bedroom has no exterior windows and no privacy. Can be hot back there even when the temperature is mild. In addition, the back bathroom is a tub with a spray attachment. Probably needs a shower curtain to make it usable. Great location and lots of space. Host was responsive and attentive to requests.

Un appartement formidable et super bien situé

Cet appartement est superbe et très bien situé dans l'hypercentre de Bordeaux. Il est magnifique et confortable, situé a quelques minutes de marche d'à peu près tout. Le seul hic était les escaliers qu'il fallait montrer (c'est au troisième étage), lesquels représentaient un défi non-négligeable pour mes parents (des aînés). Le secteur est très animé, ce qui n'était pas un grand enjeu pour moi (j'étais dans une chambre sans fenêtres), mais ça a gardé certains d'entre-nous éveillés un peu tard. Il ne s'agit la que des détails très mineurs cependant. L'endroit est très spacieux et bien décoré. On ya retrouvé tout ce dont nous avons besoin et je n'hésiterais pas à y retourner si je repassais a Bordeaux. Je ne saurais trop le recommander.

Nice appartment in the city centre

We had a really good experience in Bordeaux. The appartment was very nice. There are two points that do not allow me to give a higher grade. 1. The 3rd floor without elevator and steep stairs 2. The old doors do not allow a real privacy in the third room. For the rest it is perfect located in the city centre if Bordeaux. Everything is at walking distance.

Superb apartment

Just spent 7 nights with 2 couples. Location is superb, just inside the Old Town and local to all major sites. The apartment is stylish and functional - light and airy but easy to close-up and keep cool. Everything we used worked well - hot water, air con units, kitchen appliances etc. Check in and out easy via Whatsapp comms with concierge. Highly recommended for a happy time in beautiful Bordeaux.

Perfect location for shopping and eating

Great stay, helpful host. Excellent location. It was loud in the evening on the weekends but worth putting up with for the location. Not a crticism but there's no point booking here if that's a problem for you. It is so central. The stairs are a challenge so not suitable for small kids or those with a disability. There isn't a toilet in every ensuite bathroom which wasn't an issue for us but I don't think that was made clear. One room has a toilet and the others share a toilet in the hallway. Perfectly manageable for us. The apartement is beautiful and was perfect for our trip.

Amazing apartment

Great location, beautiful clean apartment. Stairs are tiring but that makes it so much more authentic and traditional. Apartment has all the facilities and very spacious. The host is amazing and helpful. The parking is not nearby but that’s the balance of living in the heart of this beautiful city.

Beautiful flat in Bordeaux

This apartment was just gorgeous and the neighborhood was everything we had hoped for. We could quickly hop on the tram to anywhere we wanted, including the trains. The restaurants in the area were divine. Our property manager was kind and helpful and punctual too! Only issue was the lack of a lift to get to this 3rd floor flat but it was well worth the views!
