Hale Kailani - Sea & Sky House

Welcome to Hale Kailani, our Sea and Sky House, located on a peaceful half-acre in the Hawaiian Paradise Park community just south of Hilo. This inviting island home offers comfortable indoor living paired with beautiful outdoor spaces, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation and adventure.

The lower level features two bedrooms and a full bathroom, while the upper level boasts a spacious loft-style third bedroom with a Ÿ bathroom. The living and dining areas open through sliding glass doors onto a large lanai, perfect for outdoor dining and grilling.

For added peace of mind, the home includes a monitored security system with three exterior cameras. The alarm system will be disarmed during your stay unless access is requested; exterior cameras remain active at all times. A wide selection of amenities and gear is provided to help you fully enjoy your time on the Big Island—from ocean adventures to quiet evenings at home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful property with stunning views of Hilo Bay. We rang in the New Year watching spinner dolphins from the deck, truly unforgettable. Rain or shine, (it is Hilo after all), the home felt warm, welcoming, and added to the experience. The house was immaculate and fully equipped with everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were effortless, and the owners and staff were wonderful to work with. We would absolutely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and gounds were nice and well maintained. Easy to find and drive to. There was a hot water heater issue that cause a few minor problems but we worked through those. My biggest issue was the check-in emails. I got one from VRBO butbthere were no specifics for door/lock codes. The morning of the day we were to check-in, I had to contact VRBO for points of contact for those codes. That was very disappointing.

Little slice of paradise

Great location, the listing does not compare to actually experiencing the heavenly sounds and sights you are blessed with at this well stocked, clean, updated, safe place you are lucky enough to call home. Will definitely be staying here again. Can’t wait to be back.

You will love this house !

We stayed here in July and just loved the house. Very roomy, comfortable and wonderful spot right on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Beautiful garden, nice quiet neighborhood

Amazing ocean views!

This home is located in the most stunning location. I will never forget the views from the back porch of the lava rock coastline and waves crashing against it. The house has lovely, beach decor and feels modern. We had a great time here and would go back.

Beautiful Location and sunrises

We had an amazing time staying at your home! The sunrises were amazing, even with the daily clouds. This produced various colors for our pictures. The house was clean, easy to check in and the kitchen was well stocked. Thank you for a great vacation and we hope to come back again someday.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little house. It was very clean and well appointed. It is a little off the main tourist path so there was a bit more driving involved than we had expected, but nothing awful. All in all we were very comfortable.

Beautiful sunrises and sunsets with the whales

This was a lovely rental. Close to Hilo and close to Volcanoes National Park. It is right on the water with stunning cliffside ocean views. The porch was the highlight of the house for us. A perfect place to relax and watch the whales swim past. We would definitely stay here again.

So amazing!

We had an amazing time at Hale Kailani and Tina and David were the best property managers. The available amenities at the house were more than enough. Our stay was so comfy and so relaxing. It was the best place to spend our wedding weekend. From the fishing to the stunning sunrises, it surpassed our expectations. We’ll definitely be staying at Hale Kailani again. We loved our stay!

Tranquility by the Sea

What an amazing stay! From the lovely welcome basket of goodies to the gorgeous ocean views, this stay had everything! The balcony views were a highlight
we enjoyed early morning sightings of spinner dolphins as well as amazing nighttime views of the full moon. This place had just about every amenity we could ask for. It was a great distance from both Hilo and Volcano and this was a perfect jumping off point for all of our outdoor adventures. Absolutely would stay here again!!

Great house on the coast!

The home had amazing views with an awesome sunrise. You might get lucky with some views of the moon on the water. Home was very comfortable when a good breeze came through with nice amenities. Everything was very clean.
