Situated on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood. Staying here feels like home! Walk to O.W. Ribble Park where there are walking trails, playground, bbq pits & picnic tables! Easy access to shopping, restaurant, coffee shops & of course the Texas Tech University! House itself has three bedrooms, 2 full baths, a living room, dining room & a "social" room. The social room is great place to hang out, enjoy a conversation or play many of the games supplied!

Cute and comfortable place.. Beautiful yard. Our college student was happy to spend the weekend with us here and enjoy some home cooked meals. We'd love to stay again

We booked this property months in advance for a special weekend in Lubbock for our daughter’s ring ceremony. We were traveling from about 6 hours away and relied on this confirmed reservation.Unfortunately, when we were just 2 hours from arrival, we received a call and messages that the home had been double booked. The only alternative offered was a small apartment, which did not meet our needs as a group of three requiring two beds.Based on the situation, it appears the property may also be rented independently outside of Vrbo, and our confirmed reservation was overlooked as a result. Regardless, this should not happen with a confirmed and paid booking.This last-minute notification left us scrambling during an already busy weekend (ring ceremony sorority mom’s weekend) to find new accommodations. We ultimately had to book two hotel rooms at a higher cost, adding stress and expense to what was meant to be a meaningful trip.The owner did process a refund quickly, which we appreciate, including sending the remaining balance via a payment app. However, the situation was a significant inconvenience with very little notice after a long drive.While we appreciate the prompt refund, the last-minute cancellation after a confirmed booking made this a stressful experience. For that reason, we cannot recommend this property.

This was our 2nd time to stay at this great property. It has everything you need from a stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. It's your home away from home - so welcoming and the decor is adorable! Book it - you will not be disappointed :)

Adorable & comfortable!

It was our daughter and her roommates 19th birthday. We came to celebrate with family and friends with a home cooked meal. The house was perfect and truly felt like a home away from home!! We would definitely stay here again!

Sports weekend

We came to see our student and go to the football and soccer games. The location was great, on a quiet street. The house was fantastic, modern kitchen and the most comfortable beds. Plenty of seating options for us.

Family trip

We have stayed here a couple of other times. It's a good location for visiting our family. The owner is very responsive to communications. The house has comfortable beds but the rest of the furniture is not very comfortable for relaxing with coffee or just sitting to have conversation time. There is some updating needed such as a new towel ring and toilet paper dispenser in the smaller bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed having a house with enough room for our family to spread out.

Great location

The Perky Pineapple is a great location for getting to the Tech campus and shopping around town. The neighborhood is quiet. Beds are comfortable and the house is spacious to spread out. It was nice to bring in dinner to the large dining table and have a couple of my local family members join us. This is the second time my family has stayed at the home, and the owner is very good about quick replies and addressing any concerns.

Great house to celebrate TTU graduation!

The Perky Pineappke was the perfect place for us to celebrate our son’s graduation from Texas Tech University! The rooms were spacious, the beds were super-comfy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the decor was so fun! We also greatly enjoyed the outdoor space for grilling, hanging out and throwing the football around. Sheila was awesome and so responsive to my questions. We hope to return again next year for our other son’s graduation!

Beautiful Home!

We loved our stay at the Perky Pineapple. The home was spacious and perfect for our weekend stay in Lubbock. Owner was responsive and the master bed was very comfortable. Note: Double check the address with the address provided by the owner. VRBO provided the wrong address. I can only imagine the poor neighbors watching us try to get into their house.

Very comfortable

Had a wonderful time, the house was quaint and cozy. Felt right at home. Unfortunately the website has the wrong address!! We frightened the poor neighbor trying to get in the wrong house. Sure hope VRBO could fix that. Thank you.

I bought this property because of its flexibility. I like the neighborhood that it was situated in, the corner lot and I fell in LOVE with the backyard, the arbor & covered patio. It also has a rear separate apartment that I have full time guests in, but rest assured, they have their own entrance and do not have use of the backyard at all.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

One of my favorite places in this home is the backyard. The birds come almost all day if you sit and listen under the covered patio.
