The yurt inside setup was super. Make sure someone in your group is st least 5'8" to easily access the microwave. We expected tissues to be provided but they were not. Hot tub was awesome. Hosts readily responded to any messages. Major downside, for us, was the constant road noise.

Thank you for staying in our Yurt and for taking the time to share such detailed feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the interior setup, the hot tub, and our responsiveness during your stay. We appreciate your comments about the microwave placement and tissues. Feedback like this helps us look at the little details that can make a stay more comfortable, and we’ll certainly take both suggestions into consideration. We’re sorry the road noise affected your experience. While many guests enjoy the Yurt’s setting and convenience, we understand that sensitivity to outside noise can vary from person to person, and we appreciate you mentioning it for future guests. Thank you again for choosing Revelle’s River Resort. We’re happy you enjoyed the Yurt and especially that awesome hot tub!

Thank you so much for the kind words and for giving the yurt life a try! I'm thrilled you found it clean and cozy—and extra bonus points for calling the experience “awesome” (that’s basically a gold star in yurt-speak). 🌟 You picked a great spot—being close to all those gorgeous West Virginia parks means you get your adventure and your comfy retreat. Win-win! Next time you’re in need of a getaway that’s just a little offbeat (in the best way), I’d love to have you back. Maybe we can turn that 4-star visit into a full-blown 5-star yurtfest! Safe travels until then—and keep chasing those mountain views. 🏕️✨

The campground will be just as cozy and chill the next time you're ready for another escape — maybe even better, if that's possible 😉 Don’t be a stranger — I’d absolutely love to host you again anytime! 💫

Quiet little getaway

It was a cute and quiet getaway. Most of the town is closed early in the week, so the campground was very quiet. We stayed Mon to Thurs. and it was a perfect peaceful visit. Exactly what we wanted. Nice walk along the tracks, did some hiking and enjoyed the beautiful area around us. They were super helpful with things to do in the area. The yurt was clean and everything we needed. Girls weekend

The Yurt was as clean as a yurt on the river could be. Only complaint I could have was it was cold when we got there but warmed up nicely once we figured out how to get the pellet stove lit. Other than that all was good! We would definitely come again.

thanks so much for your stay and sorry if the pellet stove was not on. It usually is but if we did not know your arrival time then sometimes its a waste if we lite it at 1 and you don't arrive until 10 pm then we waste a whole bag. Hopefully that makes sense. Let us know arrival time next time. Thanks again
