La vue sur l'océan et les pâturages côtiers fait hurler les invités lorsqu'ils entrent dans les portes hollandaises de ce chalet confortable.

C'est un endroit pour se détendre. Vous pouvez regarder les baleines jouer et les entendre chanter la nuit. Les vaches paissent paresseusement dans les pâturages, la grande île d'Hawaï s'étendant au loin. Les levers et couchers de soleil offrent des couleurs étonnantes à travers le ciel. Vous pouvez également apprécier les vues depuis le confort de votre lit. Nous avons stocké le chalet avec toutes les commodités dont vous aurez besoin pour vous sentir comme à la maison.

Pour les plus aventureux, il y a des randonnées, des plages et des cascades à proximité. Haleakala National Park (7 piscines sacrées) est situé à 4 miles au sud du chalet et Hamoa Beach est 3. 5 miles au nord. Un petit étang d'eau douce est à seulement 1/4 mile sur la route.

Location was amazing and view was incredible. Loved spending mornings and evenings on the wonderful patio. Even though the cottage is rather remote, it only added to the peaceful setting that makes it special. But the drive to Hana is worth it for the best food carts on Maui!

The cottage was as advertised and more! If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, peaceful paradise this cottage has it all.It was convenient to Hana and the national park, and a wonderful reward after a drive to Hana.

This cottage is such a special place. If you are looking to escape the crowds and completely immerse yourself in nature, this is the perfect spot. We spent several wonderful days soaking in the breathtaking sunrises and listening to the peaceful sounds of the ocean, all while exploring along the Road to Hana. Absolutely fantastic experience!A quick helpful tip for future guests: Make sure to grab food before 6:00 PM or after 7:00 AM, as food truck hours and options vary. There is also a gas station nearby that opens early, which was super convenient for morning coffee and snacks!

Perfect stay near Hana

We had a great time staying here. I really loved seeing the cows graze. This was the perfect location for us to rest after driving the road to Hana and then start our morning hikes before the crowds rolled in.

Tiny piece of paradise

The view is absolutely astounding!Although quite small the setup along with the aesthetic made for a lovely place for my partner and I to stay. We loved the deck table for dining.

My name is Michelle and I manage this heavenly cottage for an old family friend, Chuck. This cottage is a hidden gem which I hope you get to experience for yourself! I enjoy interacting with guests of the cottage. Their gratitude is a constant reminder of how lucky we are to call this place home.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Many of our guests return annually. They all say the photos don't do the place justice. Everyone declares the view spectacular. There are 70 acres of government preserve between the cottage and the shore. Even so, when the whales are here (Dec-Apr), you can hear them splash. Cattle and a few horses abound in the preserve, and you can watch their calf's frolic. A thoroughly restful place. The serene views and private nature of the cottage offer a sanctuary of kinds for guests.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Koali Ranch Cottage started out as a vacant lot set aside for a school house. In 1955, the Territory of Hawaii decided that it did not need a school there and auctioned it. Chuck's parents were successful bidders. The Territory insisted that the house be erected within a year. The cottage was designed by local architect John Tatum, working with island famous Val Ossipoff.
