This house was absolutely beautiful and perfectly met my needs for my 60th birthday celebration with my family. I would gladly rent again, hopefully in the warmer months. The only thing I can complain about was that we couldn’t get any of the TVs in the house to work and there was no way for the owners to get us that information. Maybe they could’ve taken a picture of their instructions so that they could mail it out to us if it got lost in the house somehow.

Fantastic vacation house for our group of 19 ladies! The kitchen was equipped for all our cooking needs. Plenty of bathrooms to go around for so many women. Only problem was that we were there for just 2 days, definitely needed more time! Would highly recommend!

Great house!

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette weekend and loved every second of it! The house is perfect for a big group. Only con was no mirrors in a lot of the bedrooms.

Perfect for our large group

We needed a large property to accommodate 18 adults who were in the area for a local college graduation. We decided to extend the weekend an extra day to enjoy the area. The house was perfect. We were a bit confused about the layout description initially but once we got there, it made sense and it readily accommodated all of us. The open floor plan with a large dining table next to the open kitchen made cooking and dining a breeze. The bedrooms were all spacious enough and the beds were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms on the second floor were an unusual layout but they ended up working out fine. The area was beautiful. We were able to explore a brewery and a winery and would like to go back some time to see more of the area. The outside area of the home was delightful to sit and take in the beautiful lake view.The host answered all of our questions in a timely manner. If you’re looking for a property to accommodate a large group of mixed ages and families, this is it. Everyone enjoyed their stay and made it a point to thank me for finding the perfect place for all of us.

A fantastic lake rental!

This house was awesome!! The space was perfect for our weekend with the multiple levels. The game room was our favorite and we got so excited over the ice machine -- that was a nice surprise! Def would stay here again!

A Great Birthday Party

The Lakeview Lodge was just what we needed for a weekend birthday celebration with a large family group. We needed the large number of bedrooms, and having adequate space on both the main level and lower level was important, since we had cool weather and much of our time was spent indoors. The owner was very accommodating and we had no problems checking in or out. Everyone had a great time.

Great overall experience!

Overall an amazing house. Perfect for what we needed, having our wedding party and their significant others together in such a beautiful location was perfect. The only small thing we noted: one of the bedrooms is a loft, which may not be ideal for everyone.

great location, lovely home

We had a wonderful and the house is well set up for lots of people to enjoy it together. The only problem we had is that we were asked to report any issues and we were unable to report that neither grill was working. We found the communications system between host and guests extremely awkward. Other than that, we had a great time and would recommend.

Good stay, mediocre experience

The place was wonderful. The host was good at getting back to us. The host was not very helpful for local things to do. Unfortunately since we have left we have had not such a good experience. We were charged for towels that had stains on them (supposedly couldn't get make up stains out?). We have also been charged for breaking a ladder that was already broken when we got there. We were also blamed for burn marks on their deck which was from the neighbours setting off fireworks (they have since retracted that). All in all its a nice place to stay with a large family but not a great experience since we left

Pleasant stay on the lake

Plenty of bedrooms. Wish living room larger and more seating. Ample outdoor accommodations for large party. Needs second zone for ac. Basement unusable as at least ten degrees cooler than main living areas. Wi-Fi didn’t work, but we didn’t need it. Overall, very nice place for a family retreat. We enjoyed it.

Large lake home

This lake house is very spacious and well appointed. The beds are decent and the outside areas are very nice too. We stayed over a long weekend and had family ages 6 months to 82 years old staying with us. Everyone had a great time and loved the house! He location is close enough to a larger town that I got grocery delivery with ease, and only a 30-40 minute easy drive to Seneca Lake. Very nice for a large group!

Retreat House

This was our 2nd time using this house for a women’s retreat. We simply love the lakeside location and all of the beautiful views it affords. It’s truly peaceful. One if the best parts about this property is that there are so many single bedrooms. It’s ideal for adults who want to be able to have their own bedroom. While the house is lovely and very comfortable, it could use a little upkeep. Upstairs bathroom could use a new shower head, some of the blinds needed fixing, and the bedrooms could all use bedside lamps.

Great Stay

Booked for our Board Retreat. We had an amazing experience with the house and great access to the lake. Very clean and a variety of rooms and beds to choose from. Highly recommend!
