Excellent home with everything you need to enjoy the beach - boogie boards, beach chairs, a wagon, a rolling cooler!! The rooms worked wonderfully for 2 couples and kids, and made traveling with family a breeze. Loved our mornings on the lanai and opening up the doors to the whole house.

We had such a lovely time during this trip! I had a party of 9 and there was plenty of space for us all. The home is gorgeous and had all the amenities one could use!

Amazing vacation

Beautiful location for our family vacation! We had 3 kids and this place was fantastic with lots of room for everyone as well as beach gear and bikes! Close to the grocery store, multiple amazing beaches and golf courses, this is a perfect family spot.

Perfect House for a perfect Vacation!

This house had everything and more. Loved the layout. Everyone had their own space plus a great room for everyone to be together. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely stunning!

This property exceeded our expectations. It was so well appointed and pristine. My husband and I took our 3 married children and their spouses. This space was perfect for al the gatherings, games, eating and general fun; but private enough for us all to have beautiful and privates quarters.

Great Extended Family Location

A beautiful home with a beautiful layout. Really facilitized a mix of private bedrooms and group locations for dinner and visiting. Not that we had too much sitting around, there was so much to do. Very clean with everything we needed. Communicated several times with the property manager and was immediately satisfied - mostly just things like us not knowing how to use the fans, etc. Would stay again in a minute.

Beautiful, new home

This place did not disappoint, beautiful home, stunning location, very well equipped. We had our adult kids and their spouses and a couple grandkids. We did a lot of home cooking in the awesome kitchen and grill. We especially appreciated the beach toys, which included kids buckets and stuff, as well as chairs, boogie boards, masks, snorkels, fins, coolers, etc.

Fantastic house in Kona

We had a truly great stay at this beautiful property. The house is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need and was in a great location. We hope to return again soon. Our only small criticism was the amount of pre-work we needed to do before leaving as compared to the cleaning fee. Asking guests to strip all the beds, start laundry, take out the trash, etc. is fine if the cleaning fee is low, but when you’re rushing to leave and have to do all that on top of paying over $600 in cleaning fees, it puts a damper on the end of the trip. It’s a minor critique for sure, and absolutely wouldn’t impact our willingness to return, just feedback for the hosts.

Completely lovely

The house is really nicely appointed with fresh and new furnishings and linens. It is close to the community pool. The garage has everything you need for the beach. The kitchen has all the basics. We would stay here again!

The best!

We loved our stay at Kamilo. The area is great, the pool and fitness center are awesome, and the home was beautiful. It was new, clean, had really nice furniture and decor, a functional floor plan with plenty of space, and was well stocked, especially the garage with bikes, sand toys, beach items, and baby gear. Would highly recommend. We will try to stay here again!

Way above expectations.

Highlights: We were pleasently surprised when we first enter the property, I even texted a wow to the property manager lol. What a great taste, exquisite decoration of every single part of the house, luxury appliances, everything brand new and top notch, huge fridge! A ton of beach accessories like chairs, umbrellas, diving gear, even bikes! Neighborhood is great, convenience store nearby, pool at walking distance, located 10-20 min away from the best beaches in the island. Super happy to have stayed there, we would gladly go back. Room for improvement: - pillows, I guess I'm used to memory foam. - washer: it couldn't wash away sand.

This is a beautiful property, perfect location for our family vacation.

Everything was perfect, our only complaint was the lack of response (in our case no response at all) from the property manager in regards to a request for an item that was listed to be provided. After two email requests and a voice mail message that were never returned. We moved forward and purchased the item ourselves. However, we will return to this property again.

Family adventures in Kamilo

What a perfect place for a family vacation! Bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys and of course access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. Our multigenerational family (with 3 teenagers) loved this perfect home-from the floor plan, the location, to the decor and all the amenities. Best vacation EVER!
