Comanche Cabin is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, in a very accessible, functional and cozy 1,400+ square foot design with outstanding mountain views in every direction. The cabin features a vaulted ceiling in the family room, covered front porch and plenty of parking for trailers. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to make you feel at home. Clean linens and towels are provided for your comfort along with extra blankets for cozy nights. Unwind and enjoy magical moments in the mountain recreational area of South Fork, CO.

Kitchen was fully equipped, the cabin was spacious. Our only complaint was that the beds and pillows are not comfortable. Also the front door lock is messed up. It took us a while to get the door open.

If you are looking for a rustic base camp, this property is it. Very roomy, comfortable, updated kitchen with adequate utensils. Nothing fancy, but if you are out most of your stay sightseeing or skiing, this is all you need. I wouldn’t say this property has “Mountain views”. The neighborhood has a mix of rentals and permanent residents. Overall, we would stay here again.

Very Nice Property

The property was exactly as described, and immaculately clean. We loved how convenient it is to River Road as well. The best thing I can say about it is that we'll probably stay there again.

Wonderful

Lovely little house in a cute community. Will definitely rent this home again. I would have loved a screen door so we could have left the door open. Loved the windows, view and porch. Didnt have coffee but we left some for the next renter:)

Great place!!

We enjoyed our stay! The only thing that wasn’t great, was the water pressure in the master bathroom - the shower didn’t have a lot of pressure, so we showered in the main bathroom. The kitchen pots and pans, and utensils are a little slim to choose from - but, the house itself was great! We had 3 people, and had one room that we didn’t even use. If you’re looking for a cute little house in South Fork, I highly recommend this place. We plan to come back again next year, and will certainly check to see if this house is available again for our next trip!

More than meets the eye

Plain on the outside,but spacious and clean on the inside. Master bedroom needs better pillows light /fan combo did not allow for the fan to run without the light on. Needed the fan as the nights were warm. There were no written information for cabin inside. Great base camp location for us. Appliances were all in top condition.

The house is comfortable and nicely furnished. However, it has fallen into disrepair (nothing earth shattering but the issues have existed for at least two years). Several of the window shades in the bedrooms are broken and cannot be raised (or will not stay up). Two of the windows in the living room cannot be opened because the locks are broken. There is a huge stain on the carpet right in front of the door. And the shower head in the master bath is clogged enough that only a trickle of water comes out. We notified the property manager about one of the windows that would not close, and they said they would send someone to fix it but no one ever came.

Not pleased

The water well pump was broken when we arrived. We had to pack up and spend the night in another property. There was no propane for the grill. I was told to purchase one and I would be reimbursed the cost. $65, was only reimbursed $35. Guest rooms were small and the closets could not be used because of clutter and coats. I won’t rent this property again

Excellent location

We really enjoyed the house and location for our ATV vacation. Could ride to town and several trails from the property. House is furnished with necessities. A few heads up are the king bed is extremely firm. The middle bedroom has no way to turn the ceiling fan down nor is there a closet to hang any clothes (closet locked). Master bedroom had 3 hangers and no drawers for clothes. Towels are plenty, however there were only 1 washcloth per bathroom. If you don’t have Netflix, Hulu, etc, there is no local TV and the remote seems to go up and to the right. Not being negative, we would definitely stay here again, just giving others some info.

We had a great experience at this cabin. Blinds on most windows really need replaced. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable stay

The house was very comfortable. Just a few suggestions: master bed was very hard and the sheets didn’t fit the mattress. Master bath needs a new shower head. Washer needs to be cleaned, very musty. Not enough trash bags or toilet.

Mixed review

Great home overall. Master shower never hot water and they wouldn’t come fix. Went entire trip with only one functional shower. Tv remote doesn’t work. Had a wifi issue first night but they fixed. The stay would have been perfect if they would have dealt with the shower issue. Passed it off to cold pipes rather than actually dealing with it.

Broken Blinds

This property was fabulous. The view. the deer in the morning and evening. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this property. HOWEVER, the blinds do not work. The strings are all broken and the view is one of the main attractions for this property.

This is a good rental. Other than being a little short on toiletries and a lot of dog hair remains from others that have stayed, this is a comfortable stay.

Overall, a very nice stay.

The inside of the property was very clean and it is an open floor arrangement between the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is equipped with utensils and some cookware. On the downside, the weeds close to the cabin were not mowed. Both electrical outlets in the bathrooms did not work and many of the blinds were broke so they would not raise up. Keep in mind that if you plan to stay in the summertime, there is no an air-conditioning. We left the windows open when we were at the cabin; including al night.

Very nice cabin. Would recommend staying here. My only compliant is toilet lid was not clean. Had urine on back of toilet. Cabin has a beautiful view and is in a nice area. Would stay here again.

Colorado vacation

The cabin is very nice and roomy and was clean. It was warm in Colorado this week and we slept hot. We are assuming there was no a/c. We did try to contact the property manager on how to operate the tv system but never got a response. All in all it was a good place to stay.

Mountain fresh air

This is a great house for a week getaway. Lots of room with open concept kitchen and living area. House needs lamps and tables by the bed. It could also use cable TV to catch up on the news! The kitchen appliances were good, could use a toaster. It has great mountain views from front and back of house. A back porch or deck would be spectacular. Would stay here again.

Bad communication

The biggest problem is lack of communication. We arrived around 6 pm and the directions to the place were terrible. An hour later, we finally figured it out. There were no instructions in the house. TV was a mystery. The place itself is ok, but the cleaning of the kitchen was very bad. Grease was leaking on the range from the filters above. My wife had to re-clean the whole kitchen, including the greasy filters. Also, three blinds would not stay open. In addition, there is no back porch so forget about sitting outside. We drove to the realtor's office that is managing this and talked to the secretary, Cassidy. She was nice, but we never heard from "The Boss". We wouldn't stay here again.
