Great Stay

We loved Gayle’s place- the pictures don’t do it justice! Great location as it’s equal distance from lazy river and beach club. All are walkable but would highly recommend a golf cart!

Perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at Buddy's! It was more spacious than what I imagined for us (6 adults, 1 toddler) and the location was great. Far enough to relax but not too far of a drive to explore the rest of Galveston! Sunsets were beautiful during our stay! Would definitely recommend!

Nice place on the bay at Pointe West

Clean and everything you need to relax at the beach. It is a nice property that worked well for my family of five and the family dog. The pools were nice, and it was a bit of a walk to the beach. But once at the beach, there is a nice uncrowded family beach to enjoy.

Very clean condo

We really enjoyed the stay. The condo is very clean , well furnished, and has almost everything we need. We loved the private beach and club house too. We wish the condo could provide baking sheet. Overall we have had a great time.

Great condo!

Everything was as expected! Enough room for 2 families, great location, amenities at the resort were perfect! You never have to leave the resort if you don’t want to! It has it all. :) We will stay here again the next time we come to Galveston!!!

Peace, tranquility and the right mix of activity

First time further down the sea wall. Escape the crowds at the sea wall and enjoy both beach and bay access with 2 pools lazy river and incredible sunsets enjoyed while eating somores from the fire pit. Added benefit was kayak availability, bay fishing, rental bicycles available at beach club.

Fun at the beach

My only complaint was that the pool was so cold. Couldn’t use the pool as the water heater was broke. That was a bummer!

The pool has never been heated in the past. This is the first year the board decided to refurbish and heat the lazy river pool. Unfortunately the new heater was destroyed during the ice storm in February and has been on back order. I am sorry that it was cold but I do not have any control over this and I did not relate to you that it would be heated. Unfortunately the weather in Galveston can still be a bit chilly in April. I hope you come back sometime when the pool is a bit warmer. I'm glad you enjoyed the beach.

Weekend at the beach

We had an awesome weekend. The condo was great and just what we expected from the photos. When we arrived everything was ready for us so we could unpack and then head to the beach and the pool. Gayle (the owner) made us feel feel very "at home" and left us several little extras for the kids. She was very helpful with new pool rules and hours due to the coronavirus. The condo was clean and well decorated. We had plenty of towels and everything was worked. It was very nice having an assigned parking space right across from the elevator. The big inter-tubes in the storage locker were a big hit with kids going to the lazy river pool. We were also able to store our fully loaded beach wagon and fishing poles in the locker each night. This was a very fun family beach weekend to celebrate our grandson turning 3. All eight of us (5 adults and 3 kids ) had a wonderful time.

Great condo with great view! Owner Gayle answered every question via text promptly. If u want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston seawall this is the place. Just know it’s a long way from most restaurants and stores. Other than that it’s perfect!!

Two Reasons

My husband and I are retired military and live in Atlanta. Our youngest son, wife and Twin three year old sons live near Houston. We were thrilled to spend time with them at the beach. The condo was so nice. The view of the bay was beautiful. The beach and Lazy pool were a hit for the twins. The whole experience was delightful.

Family Getaway

Clean condo with surrounded by many outdoor activities for kids. We took our scooters for even faster travel between the pools and restaurants. Owner was super informative and helpful. This is a perfect spot for a family vacation.

Great beach vacation

Great location and unit away from busy Seawell/Strand area. Loved the pools and beach club. Unit was stocked with tons of great beach/pool gear and also had great view of the bay and local birds. Can’t wait to come back!

Granddaughter’s 16th Birthday weekend celebration

Fabulous weekend; lots of wonderful memories; “icing on the cake” was the beautiful condo and Pointe West facility! Oh! Beach was awesome! It wasn’t the white sandy beach or clear water of Florida but it was one of the highlights of the trip! Thanks to Gayle, the owner, for the opportunity to have this special celebration in a special environment!
