The top attraction Breck has to offer is the world-class Breckenridge Ski Resort. Los Pinos #D10 is steps from the Snowflake Lift and just a few blocks from Main Street and downtown. Get your daily shopping fix at any of the shopping malls nearby, including Street Station and La Cima Mall (both one mile). You'll also be less than a mile from Carter Park and Pavilion, a great place for families and children. When the snow melts each spring, you'll come across scenic hiking trails, tennis courts, and a playground that's perfect for kids.
Things to Know Pool & Hot Tub Access: Please note, the pool and two additional hot tubs are located off-site at the Upper Village Pool (450 Village Road), approximately ½ mile from the property. Guests are provided with an electronic key for access. One hot tub is available on-site. Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The property overall is nice and in a good area of Breckenridge. However, there were a few issues that we had to deal with that lowered our rating from excellent to good. * When we entered the property, the unit was very hot, and the thermostat read 81. The thermostat setpoint was 69 degrees. There is no air conditioning for the unit, so we opened the windows to cool the unit. After the unit cooled, we tried setting the temperature lower (65 degrees) but the heat continued, so we left the heater in the OFF position for the remainder of the stay with cracked windows. * The bed sort of "droops on the left side looking at the bed from behind. This required us to use roughly 2/3 rds. of the mattress.* The refrigerator ice dispenser did not work. We tried to align the dispensing auger without success. We could get ice by reaching into the hopper for the dispenser. A call was made to service regarding the heat and refrigerator without correction while at the unit.

Ski in/ ski out property right near snowflake lift
Excellent location with the ability to ski in/ski out(and a few steps of walking). Property was in great condition. Parking space and garage was a bonus. Would stay again.

The place was nicely updated and we loved being able to bring our pup. Check in and check out was easy. We’ve stayed at Los Pinos before in another spot and it was annoying that we had to check in/check out at an office on Main Street. But Vacasa is always so easy with keypads on the door. Thanks for the stay!

Comfortable + Everything You Need
Cozy, comfortable condo. Kitchen was updated and well stocked with equipment for cooking. Updated bathroom. Plenty of extra linens, pillows, blankets. Good summer location - shuttle stop close by, and walking to town is possible if you don't mind an easy 15 min walk. What I thought was going to be somewhat utilitarian lodging for a wedding weekend was actually quite pleasant and comfortable!

Nice place with a terrible bed.
If you’re looking for a good night’s rest, do NOT stay here! The place is clean and has a well furnished kitchen. It’s in a good location as well. The problem is the bed is horrible. (A too soft cheap foam model.) My wife and I stayed one night here. I didn’t sleep at all, and ended sleeping on the couch! Unless they get a new bed, avoid this place!

The window was broken and don’t latch, the bathroom faucet was broken and the blinds fell apart in my hands. There were crumbs on the floor entering the bathroom when we arrived.

Poor sleep setup and unresponsive property management
The place looks nice and they just remodeled the bathroom, which is nice for its size. The problems we had with this place started when we walked in. The place smelled like bacon, and we found that bacon grease had just been smeared around the stove when the unit was “cleaned”. The smoke detector was disconnected and laying on the kitchen counter. There was a bottle of bathroom cleaner sitting on the bedroom TV stand as well. Later that night, when we opened the sofa bed for the kids to go to bed, we found that not only was the sofa bed broken (frame bent and broken free from sofa frame on one side), but the sheets that were on the bed were just crumpled in the middle of the bed, which led us to guess those sheets had not been changed. The bed in the main bedroom is just a cheap foam mattress and is on a frame that creaks quite a bit when you move. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep very well through our stay. The biggest problem is that we reported the broken sofa bed and disconnected smoke detector to Vacasa, the property manager, the first night using both the text they sent out as well as the messaging portion of VRBO. Text was the only thing they responded to (no one answers the 800 number they provided, it just ask that you hit 9 so they can text you). It took until our last night there until they actually got around to sending someone from their local team to look into things. We left a night early to check into a hotel so we could sleep. Still no answers.

Very Nice Condo That Exceeded Expectations
First time to use a service such as this to book a condo. Normally use hotels, but wanted to try something different for a late-season ski week. Booking process was easy, communications from the booking company were timely and the unit was very nice. The location was nice and easy to access Breckenridge via car on on foot.
Would have provided a rating of 5, if not for a few minor maintenance issues that had been reported in other reviews, that were not addressed and my having not the most comfortable nights sleep. Could have been that I am used to my own bed or I shook myself up skiing, but it could have been the bed, too.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay!!

No pool
For context, we once slept on a twin bed, foam mattress south of the equator and had a blast. We would classify as retired “dirt baggers”.
One star is for the place having everything we needed. Pots and pans, hot water. Bedroom closet big enough for a pack and play.
One star for cozy blanket and couch pillows.
One star for the hot tub.
One star for being clean -ish.
Improvements needed:
- tub desperately needs to be professionally caulked
- maybe tuck away the mouse traps prior to visitors. And pack away the rat poison behind the toilet. With an infant or children, would be a safety issue
- need clear instructions left out how to find the hot tub. We wandered around until we find it at night
- need clear instructions on how to find and access the pool. We never figured out how- other than the pool is shared with a bunch of other condos and is called the “Upper Village”. I texted with VACASA/Picassa to try and sort it out. Was told we’d hear from “local staff” but never did.
Don’t think we’d book again.

Relaxing and comfortable stay

Great stay
This was a great apartment for a weekend trip for 2 to Breck. The apartment was just as pictured and clean. It is also a quick 5 minute walk to the snowflake lift which was very convenient. I would absolutely stay here again!

Basic condo, OK
Los Pinos complex and surrounding area are very nice, but this unit was pretty basic. Bed was too small and there were not enough tables to set things on. When we arrived, the heat was on which was not needed in July. We had to call twice to get the heat turned off.

We are glad you took advantage of the location right across from the Snowflake Lift. The Snowflake Trail also ends nearby Los Pinos so skiing back home is easy as well!
