Charming & cozy in-town retreat in the heart of New Buffalo

This unique and charming cottage located just steps away from downtown New Buffalo, in the heart of Harbor country. Perfect for a Chicago family getaway, or a romantic retreat. The interior is bright and has an open floor plan, including a kitchen built for creating amazing meals! The yard is large and private with a grill, table, outdoor chairs, and a large fire pit, firewood included. The cottage has wireless internet and cable. Amenities include a spacious back yard, dual flush toilet, radiant floor heat in bathroom, and energy star appliances. A backyard shed includes two adult bikes and we're just a few blocks away from Beer Church and Lions Pavillion Park and Beach. *New fenced in back yard so the pups can roam a bit more freely (just be sure to double check the gate :)

*Please note that we have an exterior camera positioned to view the front door. This camera is for both security reasons and to help guests that might have any issues gaining access to the home.

The house was very clean. I appreciate a clean house as I have allergies. Kitchen had every utensil a cook might want. The fenced yard would be nice for little guys. Bathroom was good. Everything worked ( tv, shower, sinks, dishwasher). The neighborhood is nice. My dog and I took a few walks while my husband went fishing. Barb

Such a beautiful home with amazing amenities! My husband loves to cook so we always make sure to book a place with a kitchen and this one is very stocked with cookware compared to usual rentals. All types of coffee makers too. Regular machine drip, chemex, aero press, and of course really great beans provided by the host. Plus 2 bikes available for use! Very happy with this place and Marcus was super responsive via text and checked in to make sure we were set up ok.

Clean, Comfy, and Dog-Friendly Perfection

What a perfect getaway! The house was spotless, super comfy, and in the best location. Our two dogs were in heaven with the fenced yard, and we all loved the dog beach at Warren Dunes just 20 minutes away. So many little touches made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to come back!
Everything you need and a fabulous grocer is nearby!
Fabulous Grinder and coffee machine with local beans to grind. It was delicious!

Marcus and Tony's cottage is wonderful - in addition to the perfect location and ample space, you can tell that they have taken extra lengths to make sure that visitors truly feel at home. From the fully equipped kitchen and extra linens to the inviting back yard and fully functional washer/dryer, we appreciated being able to truly settle into the cottage and enjoy our vacation. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family - and would also look to return to the cottage on our next trip to the Harbor Country.

Beautiful home in New Buffalo

We loved our stay! The house was clean, amenities are well thought out, check in was a breeze. Marcus was so nice, and easy to work with. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see a thunderstorm at night through the skylights throughout the home. It was amazing to watch. The beach is about a three minute drive, and everything is within a 5-10 minute short walking distance. The main road is busy, but there is a sidewalk.

Wonderful stay

The photos don’t do this rental justice - it’s so homey and cute. Everything was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. It was easy to stay home and make dinner, and we had a lot of fun using the bonfire outside. It’s also a short walk to the main restaurants in town. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Fantastic stay! We celebrated two milestones - our 18th wedding anniversary, as well as our first vacation as a family of three (8 month old daughter). We can’t say enough wonderful things about the house, location, and excellent communication with the property owners! They thought of everything with all the labeled items and beautiful decor to make your stay comfortable. Walkable and close to restaurants, shopping, and more. Thank you for the special memories!

New Buffalo getaway.

Very cozy & clean property. Home was well stocked with all basic items making it easy to walk in & begin your vacation. Slight downfall was out side noise during the day in back yard as property is a bit close to a busy road. Other than that it’s a perfect property for a getaway in the New Buffalo area.

Cute "Cottage" Home Near Town - New Buffalo

It was just my wife and I visiting relatives in New Buffalo. We were looking for a cute place close to town. We found it! This home has a very warm "Cottage" like feel to it. Easy walk to town shops , restaurants, harbor, etc.. We will come back and stay again.

Cozy regional retreat!

My husband and I loved our stay! This is the perfect spot for those who like to walk, be outside, near the action—but not too close, and have everything you need to be comfortable. You can cook at home, cozy up in many great reading spots with a good book, and spend time outside in the large, fenced in yard. The downtown is walkable (8 min) and lakefront access is 15 min walking. We came from Chicago for a mini baby moon, and we can wait to come back with our family.

Enjoyable stay

Quick get away for my husband and me. The house was nice. Check-in was seamless. Our host even checked in with us to confirm we didn’t need anything during our stay. Host was very responsive when we had questions. Wasn’t the warmest weather but we enjoyed the indoor fireplace in this cozy cottage. Our stay was very enjoyable!

Relaxing & felt right at home

Upon arrival we enjoyed unpacking while listening to the whole house audio system. We used the fire pit, & made smores with the provided marshmallow sticks. Our dogs had fun in the fenced in yard. The beach chairs, & wagon were convenient for when we went to the beach. Also, enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The decor was lovely, & we felt relaxed in the home. Such a pleasant vacation for our family!
