Short walk to the Beach, Fully updated house in popular community neighborhood

New to the rental market, be one of the first to rent this 3 BR/2.5 half bath home located in Old Florida Village off of 30a. This quaint neighborhood has brick paved streets and the houses are lined with white picket fences. This community has 2 pools and is an easy walk (9 min) to beach. Walk to nearby restaurants, shops and entertainment venues, or stroll or ride your bike along the 30a trail. This well-maintained and freshly painted home has been recently updated with new kitchen appliances and brand new tile flooring downstairs and wood flooring in the upstairs bedrooms. There is a large dining room table that's seats 6 and 3 bar stools along the kitchen bar top. The inviting and cozy den, has a brand new flat screen TV and sofa(sofa bed) with 3 chairs for relaxing and unwinding after a long day at the beach. Outside there is a large wrap around porch with 2 Adirondack chairs and wicker bench. The upstairs includes a large master bedroom with a king bed and outside balcony with views of the lush green Florida trees and tropical plants. The master bath has a large closet and double sink vanity and shower/bath combination. The 2nd bedroom has queen bed and closet. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and closet. There is a shared bathroom with shower/tub combination.

Don’t forget to bring:
We do provide and initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, trash bags, spices and coffee filters. We recommend you also bring beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys and anything else you will need to make your vacation wonderful!

They the home was beautiful roomy and very close to pools, beaches, and restaurants along 30A. The owners were wonderful and would rent from them again.

Beautiful Beach House

Our first time to Santa Rosa Beach and we loved it! The house was beautiful and just a short walk to beach. The community pool was steps away. The home decor was beachy and chic. Would definitely recommend staying here...you will not be disappointed!

Starfish is a beautiful home that is so close to the beach. It was perfect for our family. Julie is an amazing host who really helped us out of a jam. She is great to work with. We look forward to coming back next time!

Wonderful home!

We had the best week in this home
so clean and well organized, and the kitchen was stocked with every tool we needed to cook. Even with a three year old it only took 13 minutes to walk to the beach
and a few minutes quicker without a toddler! The pool was wonderful and very close (a 2 minute walk), and the beds were very comfortable. You do need to be sure to provide your own beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and beach towels. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Senior graduation trip

The beach house was super cute and clean. We stayed for a full week and had to go to the store for toilet paper, zip lock bags for beach food, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent. The owners said they supplied some so we were notified, I just wish I would have processed that better because I could have brought a lot of that from home. The beach was in walking distance for sure, but we couldn't easily walk there every day. Rent a golf cart if you don't have a vehicle. The owners accommodated us with an early check in, however we had to reach out a few times through the app to communicate because they wouldn't answer the phone. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Wonderful week

We love this neighborhood, close to the beach, two pools. We have loved this neighborhood for years. Julie was wonderful to work with, great communication. The beds were very comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated. You should be aware that the owners do not allow you to adjust the thermostat. This was difficult for us. There are few blankets in the house we had to buy a couple & wished we had brought some. Also note that there is are no beach towels or beach gear of any kind. There is also no iron. These are not complaints I just wish I’d paid more attention to these details before booking. We had stayed here in the past & I didn’t realize there were new owners/changes before booking. The new property manager was very friendly, helpful, great communication. We will stay in this neighborhood again but probably not this house just because the temperature is not adjustable & it’s hard to bring all your beachy things if you are flying. Other than temperature, we were very comfortable. We were thrilled to find a box fan!

Fantastic property - we'll be back

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property itself was really clean (probably the cleanest property of any we've ever rented). The host was really communicative and the check in process was great. The property's wifi was good, and it was stocked very well with towels, kitchen wares, a few extra pillows, TP, etc. Someone mentioned that the AC was not adjustable in an earlier review, which is completely untrue. There are two separate thermostats (both smart thermostats similar to what we use at home) and both adjustable and the AC works really well. Location is good. You could easily walk to the beach entrance at Spooky Lane, but we rented a Golf cart, and do recommend doing that just for convenience and exploring. The property was decorated very tastefully and nothing was broken or looked outdated. It looked like it had literally just been painted. We saw the two pools in the neighborhood but did not use either, but did see people there every day. The host did let us know that the cabinets in the bottom bathroom were in the process of having the doors replaced, but that did not bother us at all as it was really minor and she let us know ahead of time. Overall, if I had to nitpick anything (and some of these things are personal preference): The king and queen mattresses are great, the two twin mattresses are a little less comfortable. HOWEVER, if you plan for kids to stay in that room with the twin mattresses, they will be perfectly fine (our 9 year old slept on one of them all 3 nights and had no complaints). We did not use the grills outside, but we did see they are there. All the appliances worked well and there was nothing broken.

Great location to restaurants, beaches, walking distance to Gulfplace. Open concept was great for multiple families. Outside shower was nice for beach cleanup. Easy walk to the pool.

Best trip ever!

Our family stayed at this beach house for a week. It was spotless, had everything we needed minus the standard items one should bring on a trip, and was much bigger than the pictures appeared! We had the easiest trip. It was so relaxing. Perfect location, easy access to the beach and the coziest house we’ve ever stayed in. I don’t think another home will be able to top this! We look forward to coming back. Julie was a lifesaver in making accommodations for us. 5 stars just isn’t enough! Thank you for our wonderful vacation!

Great family vacation

Great week at the beach! We loved the house and the area. The pool and beach were perfect too. My daughters loved the art classes at Artists at Gulf Place. Only suggestion is to have more information at the house about where the closest beach access points are located from the house. Thanks for a great stay! Cindy

Great Visit

We have been coming to this neighborhood for years now and we love it here. This rental is one of the better ones on Hidden Lake Way. Right off 30A and 10 minute walk to the beach is great and close to everything. Interior is decent and the beds are really comfortable. Nice decks off the back and master bedroom. There are no beach chairs or beach towels provided so one would have to bring those when renting this villa. Overall a great stay!

Our Week at the Beach :)

We loved this property and would definitely rent here again! It was so nicely decorated, very comfortable furniture and beds, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We also loved the neighborhood and the proximity to beach access (we had our golf cart which helped) and to restaurants! We drove so we were able to bring beach items, but it would have been nice to have some chairs. Other than that it was so great! :)

Great beach stay

Julie was a wonderful host, very responsive and thorough in her communication. Her house was the perfect home base for a stay at the beach. It was very clean, well appointed, very comfy beds and more than enough room for our family of four. It was close to the neighborhood pool and easy access to the Santa Rosa beach area, restaurants, etc.
