Cottage confortable modernisé près des plages de drapeau bleu sur la voie de Dingle

Muklaghbeg chalet dispose de quatre chambres et trois salles de bains et peut accueillir 8 personnes.
Le chalet fait partie d'un groupe de 9 chalets situés sur une route secondaire très calme qui mène le long d'un estuaire dans le village de Castlegregory. Il a été modernisé avec amour et sympathie il y a plusieurs années et est un havre chaud et confortable pour se détendre, se détendre et échapper au bruit et au stress de la vie urbaine moderne. Avec des meubles de qualité partout et une cuisine exceptionnellement bien fournie, il y a une vue imprenable sur les montagnes derrière. Mucklaghbeg est situé dans son propre terrain - une grande pelouse à l'extérieur des fenêtres de la véranda est parfaite pour les enfants, mais est adjacente aux autres chalets sur leur propre avenue privée.

Le chalet est situé à environ 2K de Castlegregory et 26K de Tralee dans le comté de Kerry. La plage est à seulement 5 minutes à pied si vous traversez les marches à marée basse sur la rivière Owencashla, ou prenez une voie sinueuse qui mène à travers un pont pour arriver à Castlegregory Strand. Calme et paisible, cette région du comté de Kerry abonde en grandes promenades et possibilités de repérage de la faune - Mount Brandon, la deuxième plus haute montagne d'Irlande, domine les vues. Golf, pêche et plongée sous-marine sont également à proximité. Les Maharees, de l'autre côté de Castlegregory, sont parmi les meilleurs d'Europe pour la planche à voile et le kitesurf sur Brandon Bay - la plus longue plage de sable doré d'Irlande - et le havre de Sandy Bay qui offre un excellent club pour les enfants. , un château gonflable et des trampolines de la mer - un plaisir fantastique pour les enfants! Promenez-vous sur la plus haute route de montagne d'Irlande, le col du Connor, et découvrez la ville portuaire de Dingle, ou faites une excursion en bateau vers les îles Blasket pour observer les phoques, ou même les baleines occasionnelles .... revenir à encore et encore.

Le supermarché Spar de Castlegregory propose un grand choix de plats et de boissons, ce qui vous permet de faire vos courses à votre porte. Le soir, les pubs locaux ont une musique fabuleuse et craique, et il y a un certain nombre d'excellents restaurants où un accueil chaleureux est toujours assuré.

Brilliant cottage in an excellent location.

Exceeded our expectations. The quiet Ireland we prefer when we visit, but yet not far from other towns we enjoy. Perfect location for walks on beach, or into town.

Amazing stay in the kingdom of Kerry

Fantastic weather all week. Great to catch up with the family and meet up with our Irish cousins. Lovely mountain's lakes and beaches. The accommodation was fantastic, in a great location. A holiday we'll never forget!

This is a very comfortable house in a lovely place - we loved our morning - and often evening - swims and very much enjoyed meeting and talking to Marie and Alby. Although we come to the peninsula every summer we hadn't stayed in Castlegregory since 1980 so it was great for us. Thank you for sharing your house with us

Beautifully located holiday house

The location is perfect being an easy walk from the beach and the town. The wider surroundings boast wonderful scenery and the town is friendly with a variety of pubs and restaurants. The house is a fine holiday house, with a good well-equipped kitchen. If the house is fully occupied it's quite small but cosy at night with the fire lit.

Even with a couple of communication hiccups, we loved this place. In the end it all worked out and we would go back in a heartbeat. It was cool in mid-May, but we still managed a swim!

Beautiful Location! Lovely home...

This was my favorite location that we stayed at during our trip to Ireland. The homeowner and home are lovely, but the real beauty of the home is the location. What a peaceful, gorgeous part of Ireland. It was extra special for me because it is my ancestral home. Thanks for a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect cottage in a wonderful country

We loved to stay here. The house is perfectly eqipped with all stuff you need for a lovely holiday. The location is very good for trips to all places and roads on the Dingle Peninsula as well as to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. We appreciated the quick and nice conversation with Lucy and her caretaker. Thank you so much!

July stay

We found the cottage to have everything we needed for the family. The kids loved the walk to the water every evening. The garden was a bonus for them to play. It was very quiet which we loved and our little one slept longer than anyone because of the peace and quiet.

Absolutely smashing house Spotless, very well equipped. Shop and beach short distance away. Location probably not best for family with small children as no summer camps for small children nearby . Otherwise lovely spot to stay.

We had a magnificent stay in Kerry cottages with my family for 5days . Shortly after our arrival we were warmly welcomed by lovely Maria and her husband who care for the property and informed of some of the features of the house and answered any questions we had .The house itself is in a beautiful quiet location, large fabulous garden, where you can get the most incredible view of a sunset in the evening. The house is an easy and very scenic walk to all the shops and restaurants of Castlegregory and a close walk to the beach . The house itself was really gorgeous . Very clean and well appointed. So many thoughtful extras . Really loved the large conservatory. Plenty of room for everyone. The beds were extremely comfortable which is a huge plus for me as I have back issues. Could not fault anything and would definitely come back . Frances

A holiday without flaws

Lucy was very keen to ensure we had 10 enjoyable days. We appreciated the heating in the house, though we felt it could have been turned down somewhat - especially with the weather being rather mild. The house met all our expectations, providing comfortable beds, nice showers, a fully equipped kitchen, and last but not least, all sorts of games and books to pass the time indoors. With the house being situated in an area surrounded by various beaches, we could walk along different coastlines, visit tourist attractions or go to restaurants in reasonable driving distance. All in all we had a fabulous time, even when the sun wasn’t shining.

Our family live in London, but spend as much time as we can in Kerry - it is a truly fabulous location to get away from life's pressures. We sadly cannot be there all year round, but want to offer others the wonderful opportunities that County Kerry gives - there really is something for everyone. We have 2 boys who have spent their holidays in Kerry since they were tiny - and they still love returning!

It is close to Castlegregory and Tralee, but rural enough to be really peaceful. There are 8 other cottages in our immediate area, but we all co-operate and keep the place very well maintained - grass cut, avenue cared for etc. Rubbish is collected weekly.

Rural and tranquil - a tonic for the soul, but loads to do if you choose to do so.
