A East Lake/Decatur Mid Century Bungalow

Sitting on just about a half acre, this 1960 mid century low profile A-frame house boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, a den, and a living/dining room adjoining a kitchen with a small eat-in area. This throwback to a hipper time provides two outdoor spaces: a screened in porch for those scorching Atlanta summer nights and a small tabled patio under strung lights.

The den and living room have pull out sofas to accommodate two more people easily. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan as well as the den. The two smart televisions, connected to the secure WiFi network, provides entertainment along with the Bang and Olufsen stereo! This home offers quality linens and bedding. Technology such as nest thermostat, digital door lock, security system and camera have been installed. The rear yard is fully fenced.

The home is located only a few short blocks to the restaurants in East Lake or Oakhurst Villages. Downtown Decatur & Kirkwood village are only a short drive away. We can accommodate visitors coming to town for events related to East Lake Golf Club, Emory University and area health centers such as Emory or Dekalb Medical. Easy access to public transit and I20. The home is not listed on any other rental sites.

As soon we walked in it felt like home. Very easy entry, great neighborhood, very clean and tidy. Just like the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living space was cozy and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. It was perfect for my family. I highly recommend this place. We would stay here again.

The mattress on the queen side bed is terrible, it is so soft you both roll to the center of the bed. Also we could not get the dishwasher to work for checkout instructions. All of the smoke alarms were missing. The outside of the property in the front needs some attention, over grown bushes along the driveway.

Hello Randy, Thank you for your feedback. We wish we had known about these concerns during your stay, as we would have gladly addressed them immediately to make your visit more comfortable. Smoke Alarms: We apologize for the timing; we had a service appointment scheduled with our security company and had briefly pulled the units for inspection. This has since been resolved. Dishwasher: We’ve confirmed the unit is fully operational, but we will clarify the instructions in our house manual to prevent any future confusion. Property Exterior: Since I am a horticulturalist, our landscaping is intentionally maintained to support local flora and a natural aesthetic, though we will ensure the driveway remains clear for easy access. Mattress: We appreciate the feedback on the bed's firmness and will keep it in mind for future updates. Safe travels on your next journey.

Nice neighborhood and close to downtown but far enough away from the congestion. We visited downtown and a couple other things in Atlanta, very easy to get to everything from there.
