Bienvenue dans notre location à Cranesville (Bear's Den) - à seulement 15 minutes du lac Deep Creek. Profitez de plus de 500 acres de campagne privée pour des vacances inoubliables! Cet hôtel récemment rénové maison de campagne d'une chambre offre un hébergement pour cinq avec deux lits doubles et un lit simple. Une salle de bain complète fournit des serviettes, savons et shampoings. La cuisine complète et salle à manger séparée a assis pour quatre plus un bar. Une terrasse donne sur un étang privé qui offre de nombreuses occasions d'observer la faune.

Beautiful, quiet and cozy

My son and I were only able to enjoy our stay for two nights. We only wish it was a longer trip. Hopefully we can book here again for next year’s bike race. Added bonus: we got to make friends with a gorgeous, sweet cat that kept us company whenever we were walking around the property and hanging out on the porch.

Beautiful location in the woods!

There is nothing better than sitting in the hot tub under the stars at this picturesque cabin in the woods. We loved this cozy escape where we could look at birds and deer outside our windows. It was convenient to Wisp where we did 2 days of skiing and loved coming back to our cabin in the woods.

Absolutely amazing place

We stayed at Bear's Den this past weekend for a ski trip and what a great cabin. Everything you need is right there, just take your own food and beverage and you're set. The hosts are wonderful people and will be sure to check on you from time to time to ensure you're safe. The snow does get deep in this area and the road crews do a great job of keeping the roads clear, but you definitely need a vehicle that can make it through. Be sure to follow the driving directions Laura sends you in your confirmation, GPS does not always work and cell phone service is weak if you have to call. I would definitely recommend Cranesville Country Rentals and look forward to going back.

Amazing place to stay!

The property is set on one of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever seen. The only bad thing about the property was the cell phone reception. All though that was exactly what we were looking for was a distraction from the real world. The cabin was very clean as well one of the most amazing places we’ve stayed in a while

A cabin in the woods on a farm

Laura is so kind and thoughtful! Stayed here with my 3 cousins for a weekend away from daily grind/bachelor weekend before the wedding at the end of the month. The groom to be is an outdoorsman and he was in his glory enjoying the great outdoors. It’s a fun scenic 25 minute ride to pretty much anywhere in Deep Creek as well. The 4 of us plan to return with our families soon. Laura has other cabins on her property and they all have what you are looking for if you prefer a more private stay than what you will find in town (Deep Creek).

Anniversary trip

We had an absolutely amazing time, the property was perfect and secluded. Everything was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed two days of peace and quiet, they even put out bird food in a feeder right by the back door so we could watch them come and go all day long. Stargazing at night was unbelievable due to low light pollution! We definitely plan on coming back, trust me just book it.

Excellent getaway away from everyone. Nice secluded area, great hot tub, and the entire house was very clean. Great experience communicating with the owner as well. Highly recommended!

Prefect secluded getaway!

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend getaway at the Bear’s Den. The cabin was cozy, yet still had a spacious feel - great balance. Favorite part was stargazing in the hot tub overlooking the pond!

Loved the secluded location.

It was very quiet, secluded location. We enjoyed seeing all the wild life. Preferred being at this location versus staying in the crowded Deep Creek. The cabin was very clean.

Exactly What We Needed!

Absolutely adorable cabin! The entire home was clean and tidy including the hot tub!! We were celebrating our anniversary and it was just what we needed. It was around a 20 minute drive drive to Deep Creek Lake, where we had the most amazing dinners. We will return for another weekend get away.

Private and peaceful

The Bears Den is a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! The cabin was clean as a whistle and had everything you could need for a romantic getaway. The owner was courteous and quick to respond. We saw all sorts of wildlife and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and privacy that the cabin provided. Thanks again Laura for your hospitality!

Bears Den was peaceful bliss!

My husband and I enjoyed our much needed kid free vacay and this cabin, was the perfect setting. The home was well kempt, cozy and drenched with that woodsy home away from home feel your looking for. The wooden detailed interior is just perfect for relaxing on the couch and disconnecting. The outside if the home is the place to be! A porch to drink your fresh coffee, a view pouring onto a perfectly manicured front lawn and the long grass surrounding, drizzled with wild flowers. The hot tub equipped back deck is above the pristine stream fed pond, filled with wildlife from frogs to Heron. You'll also enjoy butterfly, fireflies, chipmunks, groundhog, deer and countless song birds. We highly recommend Laura, she keeps a beautiful, clean property and offers a little slice of heaven!

Peaceful retreat

The pictures don’t do this clean and quiet little house justice. It is everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing getaway and nothing you do not. It was super clean, wiifii was excellent, hot tub was amazing and views were perfect. We will be back.

Are you ready to fall in love with this place?

My boyfriend and I stayed at this stunning cabin over Memorial Day Weekend and it was one of the most memorable cabins that I've ever experienced! The scenery was spectacular and the cabin clean and beautifully decorated. We utilized their hot tub which overlooks the lovely pond in the backyard and roasted some smores over the fire pit next to the pond. This place is quiet, secluded, and breathtaking. We'll be back again! ❤️

Family First Vacation to West Virginia

This was our family’s first visit to West Virginia and first mountain stay. The cabin was perfect for those looking to stay in the mountains and experience everything their beauty and exclusion have to offer. Nestled near many outdoor attractions that are a must see. The property was very well taken care of and relaxing. We were very delighted to meet the owner and get to know them, their backstories and general life in the area. They were very kind, caring , prompt if needed and even took extra time to suggest or introduce other activities near the property. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and trip, we plan to return to the property in the future. We honestly really want to have to leave.
