Cette retraite privĂ©e historique est nichĂ©e sur les rives du port magique de Parengarenga, Mangrove Bach est l'un des secrets les mieux gardĂ©s de Northlands selon les anciens clients! Mangrove Bach est l'escapade parfaite pour les amis, la famille et les pĂȘcheurs passionnĂ©s.

Plein de caractÚre et de charme, Mangrove Bach est un bach ouvert avec un décor de chalet et un intérieur en bois natif exposé partout. Une douche au-dessus d'un bon bain profond est là pour se détendre en fin de journée; la chasse d'eau est à l'extérieur dans un hangar séparé. Le Bach peut accueillir 6 personnes dans 3 chambres et les draps et serviettes sont fournis pour votre séjour.

Mangrove Bach est positionnĂ© dans un excellent emplacement, magnifiquement placĂ© pour un ensoleillement maximum. Étape du bach Ă  l'eau pour nager, pĂȘcher, ramasser des huĂźtres ou lancer votre bateau avec un 4 roues motrices. L'accĂšs aux bateaux se fait Ă  marĂ©e haute uniquement devant Mangrove Bach. Le canal est Ă  environ 500 mĂštres Ă  marĂ©e basse, oĂč les clients peuvent marcher. Profitez de la compagnie des canards et des poulets locaux qui aiment visiter. Remarque: la clĂ© de la rampe de mise Ă  l'eau n'est plus disponible.

Profitez de la mĂ©tĂ©o subtropicale de l'ExtrĂȘme-Nord avec certains des meilleurs sites de pĂȘche du nord Ă  proximitĂ©. Un trajet de 15 minutes vous amĂšnera Ă  la laiterie locale Ă  Waitaki Landing et Ă  30 Ă  40 minutes en voiture se trouvent Cape Reinga, Spirits Bay et la plage de Ninety Mile.

Il n'y a pas de barbecue au charbon disponible, mais si vous souhaitez apporter votre propre barbecue Ă  gaz, le gaz sera fourni.

This place is full of character and has everything you need. Its direct access to the Parengarenga Harbour is a real drawcard. Would like to stay longer next time - there's a lot to explore.

Mangrove Stay

This is an authentic NZ bach. We’ll equipped, we’ll maintained, and very clean, it made for a comfortable stay. The setting for the bach is quiet and serene. Communication and instructions were very clear and accurate. As an added bonus we had the good fortune to meet the owner and she was delightful. We look forward to returning next summer.

Fishing Trip

Was a typical kiwi Bach, had everything we needed. Awesome location to be based from for the week. We were fishing everyday, having the small boat ramp on the section made launching easy. Plus everything needed for filleting and washing down of the boat and gear. Will be back for sure!

Second Time at the Mangrove Bach

This was our second stay at the Bach and we enjoyed it even more than the last time stayed there. One morning the next door neighbour stopped by with some fresh caught fish and we also got to know the owner’s daughter who is a most interesting and wonderful person. Since last year, the floor as been refinished and a few historical photographs displayed. We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to return next summer.

Epic fishing adventure with mates

This was a trip which took three years to complete due to multiple lockdows, timing etc. Absolutely stunning location with incredible fishing and able to launch directly in front of bach. Fishing heaven. Highly recommend. Epic week in paradise. Thank you very much

Idyllic Time at Mangrove Bach

Our stay at the Mangrove batch could not have been any better. Even though we are not fishermen, we enjoyed it very much. The views are peaceful and serene while the interior being quite comfortable and clean has the feel of a true bach. Much to our delight we got to know the owner who happened to know a friend of ours who lives in a nearby town and arranged a bit of a reunion for them. All and all, a treasured experience. We certainly hope to go back.

Awesome week fishing

As a group we have stayed here before and again it did not disappoint. This is a remote bach and therefore do not expect all the comforts of a major city but that is why we will continue to return. That and the outstanding scenerey, location, access to the epic fishing grounds including the harbour. I live in Whanganui and this trip is well worth the 14 hrs drive, towing a boat. Aware that sounds bizarre but if your a fisherman this location is paradise. Much appreciated to hosts. Lee

Excellent fishing weekend

We loved the original presentation of the house. The set up for dealing with the fish cleaning and freezing was great.we had really good time. Enjoyed meeting the neighbour and learning about the local history.

Fantastic little hideway

I loved being here, but make no mistake this is an old fashioned kiwi bach. It has an odd layout and it is not particularly clean. We did notice there were no flies or insects which was nice! It is a good idea to read all about it before you go and of course to follow instructions. It was fabulous having access to the harbour right there.

Relax in the remote spot

If you like a holiday away from everything, this is the spot. Beautiful views, lovely owner, plenty of fish & birds around. The Bach is basic but it’s enough to keep the family happy.
