Hot Water Beach: 'Taumata' Accueil de vacances

Bienvenue à ‘Taumata’, une maison de vacances dotée de trois chambres et offrant une vue magnifique sur la plage Hot Water Beach de la superbe péninsule de Coromandel en Nouvelle-Zélande. Vous êtes à quelques minutes de la plage, située à seulement 50 mètres à pied.
Hot Water Beach a été nommée l'une des dix meilleures plages du monde et constitue un lieu de vacances idéal. Il est situé sur la côte est de la péninsule de Coromandel, entre Tairua et la plage de Hahei, à environ 2 heures de route d’Auckland ou de Hamilton.
Hot Water Beach est unique car les sources chaudes coulent à la surface de la plage à marée basse, ce qui signifie que vous pouvez vous détendre dans votre propre piscine thermale chaude que vous creuserez littéralement dans le sable. Nous fournissons gratuitement un ensemble de pelles et de pelles pour creuser votre piscine.
Hot Water Beach est idéal pour la pêche, le surf, les promenades sur la plage et dans la brousse, le kayak et l'observation des oiseaux. De plus, les lagons situés aux deux extrémités de la plage sont parfaits pour permettre aux enfants de nager et de pêcher.
A proximité se trouvent la plage de Hahei et la magnifique cathédrale Cove. Ces plages sont à seulement 10-15 minutes en voiture, avec Cooks Beach, Flaxmill Bay et Ferry Landing à seulement 15-20 minutes (où vous pourrez profiter d'un court trajet en ferry pour Whitianga et Mercury Bay).
Taumata est l’une des rares résidences de Hot Water Beach et peut être louée à court ou à long terme à des familles attentives et responsables et à des groupes d’âge adulte.
Conditions spéciales:
Un séjour minimum de deux nuits s'applique (désolé, pas d'exception). Réservations minimum de 5 jours préférées pendant les périodes de pointe, mais contactez-nous avec votre demande et nous verrons si nous pouvons vous adapter. Les tarifs sont pour jusqu'à 4 personnes + un supplément de 20 $ pp par nuit s'applique pour les autres invités. Arrivée après 15h, départ avant 10h30, s'il vous plaît.

The view and location was absolutely amazing. A short walk down to hot water beach and some local cafes. The house was the perfect beach shack. All the basics provided and the kids absolutely loved the reading nook area with toys and books.

This was our second stay at this lovely Kiwi beach treasure. Our family were so excited to return and it did not disappoint. Our teenage daughters loved the extra space in the bedroom loft and the second room on the main floor. The beds were comfy and we could hear the ocean waves at night. The kitchen is so well appointed- you know the owner has thoughtfully considered all aspects. The view is simply stunning… at any time of the day!! Just a very short stroll down to the shops and HWB. Fantastic stay. Many many thanks… we hope to return again one day when we visit NZ again

Absolutely perfect location- the view from the home is incredible. We loved the easy walk to the hot water beach (and the supplied shovels!). Our kids enjoyed the play area upstairs and swings outside. Host communication was excellent!

Fantastic view of the bay and very quiet location. Great walks and beach activity near by. Just mind the steep entrance to the driveway if you're in a small, loaded car. Lovely local cafe down the road and dinner options at the holiday park - take a torch if your going to walk as there aren't many street lights.

Carol and Lane have owned this much-loved holiday home for over 40 years. Our three children grew up enjoying their holidays there, and now bring our grandchildren to enjoy it too. We enjoy sharing our holiday home with like-minded families from all over the world.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We chose Hot Water Beach to build our family holiday home because of its unique location on the Coromandel Peninsula and of course the very special hot mineral springs, where you can enjoy your own 'hot pool' on the beach. Our property faces due North and has excellent views along this beautiful white, sandy beach. We have also enjoyed many water sports here over the years including swimming, surfing, fishing, kayaking, and of course dolphin watching - we love watching them play in the waves.
One our favourite 'special' things to do locally is to visit the excellent Lost Spring Geothermal Pools, Day Spa and Cafe/Restaurant in nearby Whitianga.

Relax in your own 'hot pool' on the beach fed by natural underground springs.
Fantastic views right along the white sandy beach.
Excellent surf at most times of the year.
Beautiful starlit nights - the sky on a clear night is magical!
If you're lucky, you'll see a group of dolphins playing in the waves!
We really recommend the excellent Hot Waves Cafe in Hot Water Beach - this is our family's favourite place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Go wine tasting at the stunning Mercury Bay vineyard at Cooks Beach, a short drive away.
World-renowned Cathedral Cove is a 15 minute drive away
