Quiet rural beauty (to visit local area)

A peaceful, rustic environment, ideal as a base to visit locations of Tasman, Moutere, Mapua, Motueka, Nelson etc. A comfy, roomy home, designed to enjoy sun, good kitchen facilities, beautiful views.

Fabulous location lovely house

The fully fenced space meant i could actually relax with my dogs of leash. Truly appreciate the generosity of the hosts to allow dogs.

Relaxing Family Getaway

This is an amazing place to stay with friendly hosts. Our kids were happy to run and experience the maze that has been made on the property. Beautiful "out of the way" quiet spot!

Old cottage in a paddock, a bit tired, but very comfortable with everything you would need. Lovely owners. Loved the area. Great we could have our dogs with us. Would stay again.

Well off the main road, can hear a pin drop! Well equipped with everything you need. Friendly hosts. Wi-fi etc all included. Great place to stay.

Relaxing weekend away

We wanted a quiet weekend away and that’s just what we got. The weather wasn’t so good so didn’t do much but the wee house and facilities were all that we needed. The 3 of us all had good walk to the gate and back with our dog getting into the stream, he was happy to have the space to roam free

Special spot!

Was such a lovely holiday, we had everything we needed and enjoyed the birdsong and the fresh air! Loved seeing the cows and eels - especially the kids and the maze was great fun! In a great place to explore Golden Bay or just relax at the house. It is a special spot - thanks Anne and Mike.

Peaceful Farm Setting

We had a relaxing getaway, thank you Mike & Anne. Comfy bach vibe with plenty of space. Probably best suited to stays outside the winter months, although there were plenty of heaters and lovely warm duvets.

A Quiet Haven

We loved our week here. The house is lovely and has everything you need plus more. It is warm and cosy and lends itself to red wine and a good book. The only sounds are animals and bird life, just what was needed. Thank you both for a great holiday, we will be back.

Wonderful stay in the countryside

We and the dogs were tired after several days on the road. We had a relaxing stay with plenty of room, perfect with the fully fenced section so the dogs could run around free. Bonus with washing machine to wash away the travel dirt. Many thanks Mike and Anne. We'll be back.

Rural privacy and dog welcome

Lots of space around this rural home to get away from it all with our small dog. Well equipped. I loved the big claw-foot bath for an evening soak. We also had a fun time getting lost in the hedge maze! Glad the weather was relatively mild for July.

Very impressed with the set-up and standard of accommodation that is offered here. Quiet and Cosy Thank you for a lovely stay. My biggest apologies for messing up the dates that I booked and thinking that I had an extra night booked. additional money left on the table to cover the Late Checkout. Rural bliss

Anne and Mike are the loveliest hosts and this is the most peaceful country setting -perfect for holidaying with a dog: a tidy, comfortable and well-equipped farm-house set in a large, fenced paddock...... a tree-lined drive to enjoy wandering along as you walk to feed the eels in the stream....a wonderful rustic gallery holding Anne's incredible artworks.....an easy drive to Motueka and Kaiteriteri..and huge starry night skies to enjoy. We had a fantastic holiday and Anne and Mike were even kind enough to give us beautiful fresh vegies from their garden. Thanks so much and we look forward to returning soon!!

Perfect retreat, peace and tranquility.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay comfortable beds, awesome views, total privacy and quiet. Very well equipped didn't have to think about anything, felt just like home. Our little dogs loved it too, totally fenced property, so worry free. Highly recommend this unique accommodation.

Peaceful place

The property is nice and tidy. Heaters in every room. The surrounding area is great for kids, plenty of space for them to play and have fun in security. The hosts are lovely.

Paradise

This is a wonderful cottage for either a couple or family. So charming and quaint. We enjoyed the outstanding views from all angles, had several nice country walks, played with their dog Zoe and was honored to be invited into Ann's art studio! Mike inspired us to dust off our bikes when we get home! Thank you for a perfect retreat!
