Your claim that I was “anxious” or “overbearing” is inaccurate and does not reflect the facts. There was no regular contact during your stay. We strictly respect our guests’ privacy, we are not on site, and we work during the day. We met three times: the first time, on the first day, when you brought gifts to thank the children who regularly cleared the snow to ensure your safety, the second time for the delivery of the space heater, and the third time when I came to return equivalent gifts as well (wine, chocolates, a greeting card, and a gift bag). That is to say, the equivalent of all gifts was returned to you in order to maintain a clear and professional exchange. I did not want to owe you anything. When you mentioned feeling cold, the next day we quickly purchased a space heater to ensure your comfort. Just after your departure, the apartment required extensive cleaning well beyond standard turnover, including persistent yellow stains on the bathroom fixtures, the bidet, and the toilet, significant black residue inside the oven (brand new), as well as damage to the cooktop. Additional damage was also noted on the work table, as well as scratches on the chair in the main bedroom. Intentional scratches were observed on the brand-new washing machine, as well as damage to the paint inside the closet, including black marks and scuffing in several areas, as well as on the main bedroom door and the bedroom walls. These small damages contribute to the devaluation of the apartment. The sofa and the table are of good quality. They are older but well maintained and fully consistent with the listing. No money is ever requested directly from a guest. Evidence is submitted to the platform, which alone decides. After several years of activity on Airbnb (and VRBO), as demonstrated by previous reviews, you are a problematic guest. It is easy to write nonsense behind a screen to cause harm. You also have the tendency to insult and invent false information. You insult people who provided you with a private assessment without insults. That says a lot about the kind of person you are. But karma exists. Everything always returns to the person who invents and defames. Good luck. Unable to face the facts, some choose to destroy in order to soothe their own conscience. All of these elements were documented after your departure and handled through the platform, with supporting evidence, in accordance with established procedures.
