Kiwi Bach Ă  South Bay

Petit chalet disponible dans South Bay. Vues sur les plages de Kaikoura. Récemment redécoré et doté du confort moderne. Cottage a une petite cuisine et un coin salon.

Cottage dispose de 2 chambres (une interne et une sleepout) et le salon dispose d'un canapé-lit gigogne. Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes.

Section est entiÚrement clÎturé, sans danger pour les jeunes enfants et disposant de stationnement hors rue pour les voitures et les bateaux.

Convient aux familles

Cottage est pratique pour les rampes de bateau publics et privés et distance de marche de la plage et aire de jeux pour enfants. 5 minutes de la promenade Pennisula.

Very tidy, nice small place

Very tidy, nice place. Well located near to the South Bay boat ramp. Great for small families or couples or individuals. Highly recommended!

This Bach was everything and had everything that we needed , cosy , comfortable, clean and tidy and ideal for a base for our boating and fishing weekend . Great shower and outdoor couch !

Good accomodation in convenient location

Very comfortable and well supplied. Road has quite a lot of traffic at times otherwise has great access to a very interesting and scenic area.

The perfect kiwi batch

Fantastic people to deal with. The perfect location to base yourself for a fishing weekend or longer. If the weather isn't up to fishing the property is a lovely space to relax. Really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again.

A safe haven

Kia ora one and all. I found Mark & Heather's wee bach a really lovely place to stay, and it had everything I needed, or wanted. Given, that I had temporarily fled my home, due to ongoing threats & intimidation from my neighbour (Police involved), I slept well and felt safe for the first time in many, many weeks. I just wish I could have afforded to stay longer. Never mind the time I spent here was such a blessing = lovely walks to the beach and 'hunkering down' when it rained. Close to town for movies, extra food and good coffee, were added bonuses. Thanks Heather and Mark for providing such a lovely safe house to rest & recuperate. Ngā Mihi Nui/Kindest Regards Sharon C

Needs a bit of work

The property is in a fabulous location but is tired. The main house is what we expected. The kitchen was well stocked but had little storage space. The bathroom was clean but the hot water pressure is very low. The heat pump works well. Unfortunately the sleeping arrangements let the property down. All the bedding is old and the beds in the sleep out need replacing. The metal bunks creaked everytime you moved. It also smelt musty and damp when we arrived. You also cannot lock the sliding door from the inside and the lock barrel fell out several times. We enjoyed our time in South Bay but some improvements would have made it a lot better.

Great location, Disappointing accommodation

We were expecting to use the main house plus the sleepout for our accomdation needs. Damp bedding and sheets were left in the sleepout making it too musty to sleep in. We ended up bringing a mattress into the living room, which was hard and also musty. Exposed wiring and overloaded power adaptors looked unsafe. Would not bring a young child into this living room. Unclean tea towels in kitchen, greasy sofa, and general standard of cleanliness was way below what is acceptable for the cost of renting this place. Considering the lovely location offering a potentially great holiday spot, were really disappointed with this bach.

Hop Stay

A great little property with everything you need. Clean and tidy and well presented. Only a couple of things were not 100% - this being not all stove elements worked, also the sleep-out door would not lock from inside but would happily stay again. Thanks!

Enjoyable stay at the bay.

We had a good time here, lots of outdoor furniture for fine weather. Hosts are great to deal with with quick responses to communications.
