Authentique maison en rondins

Deux espaces de vie fantastiques - un salon ouvert avec une table à manger et huit chaises, un poêle à bois, une télévision 42 "avec TNT, des films et une table de billard donnant sur une grande véranda avec vue sur la montagne donnant sur le jardin, un barbecue et un spa extérieur à cinq places. La cuisine est bien équipée avec un grand garde-manger, un réfrigérateur / congélateur, un four micro-ondes, une cafetière Nespresso, un four et un évier avec de nombreux rangements et rangements. Une salle de petit-déjeuner séparée avec table, bancs et cheminée située sous la mezzanine se trouve sous la mezzanine, idéale pour les enfants, idéale pour leur propre espace, avec des bacs contenant k'nex, duplo, lego, livres et casse-têtes journées. Avec la mezzanine mezzanine comprenant 1 lit queen, 1 lit double et 2 lits jumeaux, 1 lit king simple et un coin salon, et 2 chambres séparées avec 1 lit queen, 1 chambre avec salle de bain privative, il y a beaucoup de place pour votre groupe. Des services de garde et de promenade sont disponibles sur rendez-vous. Ceci est une incroyable propriété fermée à flanc de colline, magnifiquement aménagée avec des étangs d'ornement et beaucoup d'espace et d'intimité; sur la route d'une belle promenade de la rivière. Beaucoup de place pour les chiens à errer. Les chiens sont limités aux sols durs en bas. Les frais pour les chiens sont de 20 $ / chien par séjour, 30 $ pour deux chiens. Départ à 10h et arrivée à 16h. Log Lodge est à seulement 10 minutes du canton d’Ohakune, puis à 20 minutes d’une route forestière menant au domaine skiable de Turoa ou à 30 minutes environ du domaine skiable de Whakapapa. Un service de navette, Ruapehu Connections, assure la liaison entre Raetihi et Ohakune.
Conditions spéciales:
Jusqu'à deux chiens sont autorisés mais doivent rester confinés à la propriété. Ils ont sept hectares à parcourir, mais il y a des moutons dans les propriétés voisines. Les chiens ne sont autorisés que sur les sols en bas de la maison. Il y a une terrasse couverte et abritée qui convient aux lits / caisses de chiens, etc.
Nous facturons 20 $ / chien par séjour et 20 $ / chien par jour pour les chiens assis.

Absolutely loved our stay! Such a cozy, peaceful spot to unwind, and so close to the mountain for an easy trip to the snow. The homemade crumpets and raspberry jam were honestly to die for – the perfect touch to a perfect getaway. Can’t wait to come back!”

Fantastic retreat

It was lovely to get to the lodge and light a fire for a cosy evening, finishing it off with a spa before bed. Everything we needed was provided, and a beautiful breakfast as well.

Loved this space. Booked it for a work team planning trip. Heaps of room for small group discussions, loved the two fires and the hot tub! Great location.

Amazing log cabin

What a beautiful place, and amazing views. We both enjoyed this place, a sitting in the hot tub overlooking mt Ruapehu, with the full moon rising was a memory that we wont forget soon. We will be back

What a beautiful property! even better than the pictures. Lots of outside space for dogs, impeccably clean and host was very friendly. Little added extras were a lovely touch. We would definitely come back here again! We were extremely happy with everything.

The Log House certainly is unique and impressive plus ticks all the boxes! A great property for family to stay at - so much space, lots to do and lovely facilities. Fantastic sitting in the spa pool looking at Mt Ruapehu, a real treat. Lovely hosts and good communication. Wished we could of stayed longer, thank you!

Our new favourite place

This property has everything you need for a snow getaway. The location is perfect. There is so much space. Spa and a pool table are great. It’s 12 minutes from Ohakune but we didn’t even feel like leaving the house unless going to the slopes.

Fantastic log lodge!

We had a wonderful time staying at the lodge. Deb and Steve were great hosts and the homemade crumpets and jam were awesome! The house has everything you need and more, with the pool table, spa and so many games and books to choose from. It’s also very dog friendly and our kelpie had a great time playing and lazing outside on the lawn. Views are spectacular - we were so lucky because the weather was stunning, bright sunny days which meant watching beautiful sunrises next to the mountain from the deck. I just wish we could have stayed longer…

An amazing quiet break away

This was one of the best Book a Baches we've ever been to. Cosy, warm, so clean and comfortable. There's plenty of space to stretch out and relax, with beds galore and lots of sitting/ living areas. The kids loved the gorgeous modern spa and pool table, which kept them entertained all week! The bathrooms are modern and new, and the overall feel of the house was welcoming and homely. Deb and Steve were excellent hosts, and the kids loved feeding the ducks. Thank you again for a relaxing stay, we WILL be back!

Amazing loghouse in a great location soo close to trails

We visited the loghouse now for the second time. Last time was in winter 2023 with absolutely amazing snow. This time we took our bikes and discovered a wide variaty of trails we found on Alltrails. Deborah and Steve as usually made our stay absolutely perfect and our daughter absolutely loves the house. We will come back in winter again. Thanks heaps for such an amazing listing. Autumn Escape

The log cabin was even more beautiful than the photos. With a roaring fire to welcome us on arrival and the hot spa on the deck ready with mountain views was just bliss. Homemade crumpets and jam were just one of the special touches that made our stay so memorable. We played pool in the warmth of the heart of the house and scrabble as the sun went down. Only minutes away ftom Ohakune this gorgeous place exceeded our exoectations. It is beautifully appointed with a real charm, and super clean and tidy. A hidden gem it was a birthday treat stay that wont be forgotten. We will definitely be back

Log house dreams

We have always loved log houses and this one does not disappoint! Just 2 of us on a break away and it felt cosy and warm, could just as easily have been 10 with plenty of beds and break out spaces. We had 2 of the fireplaces going and the large pool table was a fun diversion. Never turned the tv on which is always a great sign. Great view of the mountain on arrival (well what we could see under the cloud) from the lounge, she hid after that but you can’t control the weather. Lovely hosts made sure the fire was going and fridge stocked with homemade crumpets before we arrived. Highly recommend, we would definitely come again!

Lovely, relaxing stay - amazing views!

My husband and I were here for a week with our border collie X doggo, and we all had a fabulous time! There was space for our dog to run around outside, but also a really lovely river walk across the road where he could be off-lead. We also did a similar, slightly longer, river walk in Ohakune which was dog-friendly. The log cabin itself is lovely - all the beds are upstairs; there are two private rooms, and then also a more open-plan area that had 2x queen and 2x king singles. Super-comfy beds! The weather turned rubbish for a couple of days so we just hunkered down in front of the fire and watched movies. Hubby enjoyed having the pool table, and the piano was an unexpected bonus! Highly recommend this place and we very much hope to be back. Thanks Steve and Deb!

Photos don't do the house justice

Staying here was lovely, there was so much space for the whole family and we couldn't get enough of the beautiful view. The bathrooms arent photographed in the listing so we weren't sure what to expect. There is a full modern bathroom downstairs with a shower. Theres another bathroom downstairs split with the shower and toilet in seperate rooms. The bathroom upstairs is connected to the main bedroom. All lovely, modern and clean. I brought my dog along and was pleased to find it very dog friendly. Didn't even have to worry about him trying to go upstairs because the wooden spiral staircase was too "scary" for him. Overall a great place and would be happy to stay here again.
