Beautiful relaxing property

The property was exactly as advertised and the owners were flexible and responsive when I need to extend my stay. I had a wonderful time and would recommend the property to anyone staying in the area. The location was great. Right next to beach and a quick 10-15 walk to town

Thank you for providing such a comfortable and welcoming place to stay during Te Matatini. It was the perfect space to relax and recharge after a special event. Great location, great accommodation

We had a lovely stay at Whare Hita. It's close to Fitzroy beach and not far from the central city too. Comfortable and modern with everything you need (except a microwave), including a covered outdoor area with barbecue. Good communication with the host (Rachel), very friendly and responsive.

private luxurious stylish

Most stylish place we have ever stayed, with top quality appliances, and facilities. Loved the fantastic wall heater which turned on automatically when temperatures dropped and gave a natural warm ambience. Loved the private tropical courtyard, and how we felt completely separate from owners next door. enjoyed the outdoor shower, and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The hosts were very generous with what they provided in kitchen, and also left us plenty of towels including swimming towels. It was in a fantastic location close to city and board walk, but in a very quite street with easy parking in outside. They also had a sophisticated door lock that didn't need a key, which was convenient and easy to use. I am a fuzzy person, with high standards, but I couldn't fault this place, or the hosts who were helpful and prompt communicators.

Perfection get-away

Great location just a short stroll to the beach and coastal walkway (perfect for a run), and an easy walk into town. Convenient check-in process with coded lock. Place was immaculately clean, bed and furnishings were comfortable, bedding was lovely, the gardens delightful, and all the facilities were there. The only tiny drawback is that there is no facility for streaming media to the TV or DVD player, so bring your own device with HDMI output or watch TV/DVDs the old-school way. Highly recommended: coffee, scones and friendly chat at the Sunny caravan around the corner in the Freedom store carpark.

Gorgeous Apartment - Close to Sea

A beautifully clean and warm apartment, with every comfort needed for our brief stay. We chose the location for it's proximity to the coastal walkway, but found it is also very close to the city center, which we loved. Excellent hosts, accommodating and first class.

Great little oasis

The attached apartment is a brilliant little oasis of peace and quiet. Handily situated in walking distance of New Plymouth township, restaurants,and museum, this simply designed suite provides everything needed for a holiday break. Love it!

Stylish apartment

We loved our stay at Whare Hita, it's stylish, super comfortable and wonderfully located close to city and coast with a lovely subtropicalish garden. Might be useful for others to know there's no door between the bedroom and lounge, it's essentially one big room.
