A sweet spot in Haumoana

A sweet wee Glamping Hut with everything you could need. Great vantage point for exploring the cape coast. Excellent coffee and great vineyards. A lovely host.

Haumamoana

A place to get away from it all but still close to amenities and the beach. Anita was a great host and completely understands the needs of travellers. Everything in the cabin is of high quality and reflects Anita’s travel experiences and caring approach.

Perched above the water

Loved our wee cabin with views over the water, awaking to bird song and outdoor showering. We shared kitchen facilities with the host who made us feel most welcome in doing so. Close to bike trails and sea.

This was, as perfectly implied by the advertising, a 'permanent tent'. Tiny, cosy, welcoming, and combining an outdoor shower with great hot water and a very well equipped kitchen. Even in dodgy weather, we dined well outdoors and - as importantly - we were well-located for local wineries, artists' studios, and the whole Hawkes Bay experience. Most importantly, our host Anita made the experience so much more positive with offers of fresh produce from her garden and welcome suggestions about local events and things to try.

Highly Recommend

An amazing location with everything you need for a few days or more! Anita is a fantastic host and has set up the cabin perfectly for your every need. Opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the small friendly Haumoana community and easy access to adventures further afield, with bike tracks close. This was a well spent two week retreat spent in a very special place. Highly recommend.

TWO WEEKS IN PARADISE

It has been a pleasure to pass two weeks in Haumoana, near the Ocean and actually in front of the lagoon. The house is small but very confortable and Anita is a super host. Strong woman, she is smart and direct, simple and sweet! She welcomed us warmly and was a pity to left! We has been super lucky!

We had such an enjoyable stay - 2 nights really wasn't enough! Anita was very hospitable and the cabin was immaculate and extremely comfortable. Next time we are in the hawkes bay we would love to stay again!

We had an absolutely outstanding weekend.

We had an absolutely outstanding weekend. Such a beautiful spot to "unplug" from the modern world of technology and just unwind. Waking up to the sounds of the birds calling and the water was magical. Bike riding is a must and such a great way to view the Hawkes Bay countryside! We will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Anita!
