Wonderful home - the living room is larger than the photos show. Generous sofas. Comfortable beds, with extra feather quits if needed. Well equipped kitchen. Table and chairs. Walk-in shower. Large verandah. Very clean. Perfectly sited for sorties in Napier and Hastings directions. Quiet posie, yet close to a main route to Napier and Hastings. Had a ball there with my sister and our Besties, attending Art Deco Weekend events.

We stayed only 1 night of the 2 we booked. The general condition of the accommodation is not what is represented in the photos, which must have been taken years ago. It is now tired and worn and minimally cleaned. The kitchen however was not cleaned at all. There were food spills in the fridge, microwave, cooktop and oven, to the point that I was not comfortable using them. We were offered no solution or compensation from the owner after complaints were made. This location did not meet any minimal standards of a VRBO. I do not understand how any of the recent reviews rated the accommodation so highly. It is obvious by the wear of the place that it has been in poor condition for quite some time.

Needs a bit of work to fix some smallish problems. Disappointing check in as owner had forgotten we were coming and had not finished cleaning the property when we arrived. However we enjoyed our stay and think that the owner has taken on a big job and doing his very best. He is a good man and we liked him and enjoyed the area.

Nice cottage great location

Lovely place , nice and spacious. The heat pump was on a cold air conditioning setting and none of us could change it. There were no instructions and we all have heat pumps so unfortunately on the second night we were freezing sitting in jackets with blankets.Good location and easy to find.

Good sized Accom.. had everything we needed.Good central location to Clifton beach, havelock nth & Napier.Accom very clean..Had trouble getting the heat pump to work on heat but was only there to sleep so weren’t too worried.Good fast communication from host prior to arriving.Very happy would recommend

Lovely Cottage -great location

Spacious cottage. Very clean and tidy with good amenities. We stayed for two nights and were very happy. Comfortable beds and quiet location. Lovely owner. We would definitely recommend.

Great Stay

Staying on an operating Kiwi farm was a great experience. Marcus explained and showed us this year’s crop.The cottage was everything promised in the listing. We were able to make great meals and relaxed on the deck watching the birds and the stars..Good location for exploring the area’s wineries and beaches.Would stay there again.Jan and Phill
