Private Bliss - l'escapade parfaite Ă  la plage

Ce magnifique petit studio à une chambre a été entiÚrement rénové et offre un excellent flux intérieur / extérieur vers les ponts des cÎtés ouest et est. Ouvrez les portes pliantes de votre chambre et observez le lever du soleil sur les plantes indigÚnes tout en sirotant un café au lit. AprÚs une journée à la plage, profitez d'un barbecue sur le pont ouest tout en regardant le coucher de soleil. Ou détendez-vous dans un bain en plein air à la belle étoile.

À l'intĂ©rieur, le bach contient une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e, des toilettes sĂ©parĂ©es et une douche avec plancher de douche en galets physiologiques.

Ce bach est situé sur une propriété de 25 hectares, avec 5 acres de pelouse damée, un (jeune) verger et un jardin d'herbes aromatiques sur place.

Le bach est à environ 800m de la plage de Tokerau. Il se trouve à quelques minutes de route d'une multitude de plages de la péninsule ou d'une belle promenade à travers les chemins de ferme (environ 20 minutes).

Il y a beaucoup d'espace pour garer les véhicules / bateaux et beaucoup d'eau fraßche.

Le centre commercial le plus proche pour les commoditĂ©s est Kaitaia, Ă  environ 25 minutes en voiture. Il y a un dĂ©panneur avec tous les produits de base, de l'essence et un magasin d'alcool sur la pĂ©ninsule. Carrington Estate and Winery / parcours de golf se trouve Ă  quelques minutes de route Ă©galement et constitue un endroit magnifique pour passer l’aprĂšs-midi avec une bouteille de vin et un plateau de fruits de mer. Il y a aussi un magasin de plongĂ©e sur la pĂ©ninsule.

Le bach est idéalement situé pour une excursion d'une journée à Cape Reinga ou vers la cÎte ouest pour un surf à Ahipara, sur une magnifique plage de 90 miles.

Beautiful and Private Accomodation

Beautiful little place in the middle of the peninsula. Very handy to all the beaches and private too. Absolutely recommend staying here.

Perfect Retreat

Second time staying at this lovely Bach. Perfect for a couple who enjoy privacy and just want to unwind. Bach well equipped, with two decks, bbq, good internet connection and even an outside bath. Will stay again.

Beaches Galore

This property is amazing, tucked out of the way with large area all to yourself. Close to so many amazing beaches, and an ideal spot to continue to relax after a day in the sun. Lovely deck for bbq dinners and an outside bath to soak in at the end of the evening

Tranquil Stay

Absolute little treasure. We wanted a very secluded place to stay, and that's exactly what we got. Awesome location, loads of beautiful beaches close by. The place was very well equipped and quite considering it was very wet and windy for a couple of days. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.

We loved our stay here. It was so lovely and private and peaceful. Well stocked kitchen and great outdoor bath. Only slight (and would stay here again regardless) draw back is that we found the bed a little hard, but some point might like that. And we still had a fabulous and very comfortable stay

Perfect Location

We totally enjoyed our stay. Perfect central location to visit the many beaches around the area and a beautiful scenic drive north to Cape Reinga. Loved that sunrise every morning. Michelle was very helpful answering any queries we had as well as offering us good suggestings, plus was a great help when we forget an important item after checking out and had to return the next day. Again, thank you. Would return if ever traveling to New Zealand again.

Great quiet location

Great private spot which was well set up

We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back soon. We had the cyclone come through and were well looked after by the owners and communication was really personal, generous and quick. House was well stocked for bad weather with emergency supplies, books and games. Lovely quiet and private spot with well kept gardens and enjoyed the bath even during the cyclone when we had power. thank you Michelle for a great stay and thank you for sharing.

Charming, cool, comfortable private space on beautiful garden setting.

If you want to escape to a quiet rural space come here! Evenings enjoying the sunset and stargazing were our favourites. This Bach has benn completely renovated so you will have all new amenities to cook and relax. There must have been 4 different coffee pots!! We explored Matai beach, walked the fig tree track, cycled the Tauruo trail, drove up to Cape Reinga and visited Gumdiggers Park while we were there. Bring groceries and alcohol with you as the local shopping is 20 minutes away. Thanks Michelle for sharing your cool space with us!!

musty and damp, food expired

Unfortunately we found the house in a terrible condition. The whole house was damp and the musty air inside had been cleaned with an air freshener. The house smells unpleasant and musty. Most of the pictures on the website do not correspond to the current equipment. The existing food has expired. What good is a wardrobe in the bedroom if the landlord himself stores his belongings? Neither in the sun nor in the rain are there any comfortable options to rest. Sofas and bed are worn out and sagging. I don’t know when the owner were here the last time. This was the worst accommodation of our 6 week holiday in New Zealand. Michelle, the owner of this property lives in Auckland and says that I lie. After that, no more contact, and the agent doesn't want to help us either

Perfectly private and peaceful

This was our second summer vacation at this bach , we couldn’t wait to return this year , all the more so as we knew we could just relax and enjoy without worrying about covid or masks. For us this quiet secluded spacious 1 bed cottage set amongst a farm and native bush is our kind of bliss , it is simple, perfectly clean & modern and has everything you need, including an outdoor bath we loved. We wanted easy access to the beautiful beaches for swimming, and boat access /ramps and great fishing the area offers, we also wanted somewhere to relax and read and not have to worry about noisy neighbours , other than cows or birds and the sound of the waves in the distance , you are entirely on your own, and everything you may need is a short drive away. Michelle our host was so helpful and great at communicating. Highly recommend this bach to couples looking for a private getaway .. We will be back that’s for sure . 😃

Fantastic place to stay and close to some of NZs best beaches

We stayed for 8 days and just loved our time here. The batch is great- its clean and very, very well equipped. The back deck is ideal for entertaining. The weather was extremely hot but opening both doors allows the breeze comes in and its lovely. Theres also a really good fan if you need it. We often had it on low at night and you can’t hear it. The bed is super comfortable and my sister stayed a few nights and was comfortable on the spare mattress provided. The batch is in a remote area, so its quiet, peaceful and private. Jump in the car and you’re just 10-20mins from the best beaches and bays. Michelle is a wonderful host and always quick to respond to questions. We would come back and highly recommend to a couple or small family.

We are a Canadian/Kiwi couple. My partner grew up on this land and helped his family farm it when he was young. I fell in love with it the first time he brought me up north. We live in Auckland but love our escapes to the bach and often spend our weekends either on the water paddling, or on the land, planting trees (or controlling weeds!).

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This bach is built on family land and has a special history to us. Previously farmed, we are gradually returning our property to native bush, and though still small, the native plantings around the bach have all been propagated from local sources and planted by the two of us over many years of hard work.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This place is good for the soul. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you will enjoy complete privacy (with the exception of neighbouring cows). The bach is full of light and completely opens up with bifold doors on either side, to let the sun stream in.

It is a short drive to multiple beaches - about 800m off Tokerau beach (driving only).

This isn't a shopping destination or a place to go for fine dining. It is a blissful, serene getaway. Bring your swimsuit and water sports gear, a good book and a bottle of wine and you will be set.
