A very special getaway

This was and amazing stay. The property was great, scenery breathtaking, and the seal colony took it to a whole new level. We'd happily return from Australia to visit again.

Absolutely loved our stay, very remote and private. Even though it was a harsh southerly it was so nice to rug up inside watching the ferru go past. We thoroughly recommend this beautiful place.

Paradise stay

My partner and I had three nights stay in this incredibly cosy Bach. The Views were amazing, waking up to the wave crashing is our kind of get away!! Great place to explore on our quad and soaked up the scenic views around us. comunicating with the owners was great! Would book again.

Great stay!

We had a nice stay at this bach at a beautiful and unique location. It was a bit hard to reach, but Chrissy and Steve were very quick to help us out when we decided we needed a last-minute taxi. The house was spacious and clean and an excellent place to start a nice beach walk from. Seals on the front step!

It was by far a great experience to stay off grid and the bach was so comfy and warm it felt really homey. The surrounding area was breathtaking i walk straight out and go diving and fishing. Me and my wife enjoyed our stay and would book in the future. Thank you christine for letting us stay.

Relax in a rustic yet chic environment

I found it to be a very relaxing stay in a very functional house with everything you need. Plenty of life to watch through the windows such as nesting oyster catchers guarding their eggs, gannets wizzing past, seals and great black back gulls in their natural environment breaking shells looking forward to going back.

Amazing view of Cook Strait p

Very lovely off the grid property and surprised us how little energy you need to live. It is a really nice rustic house with amazing view of the water. It is virtually in front of the Cook Strait. Great walk along the waterfront and seeing seals, oyster catchers etc beautiful

Awesome spot

Absolutely beautiful spot. Loved being able to relax and recharge. So nice seeing the ferries and cruise ships at night. It was raining when we left so Steve & Chrissy met us on our way out with a remote for the gate so we didn't need to get out of the car to sort out the paddlock - awesome service.
